With the inception of OpenBazaar, people can now buy/sell items without the need for a middleman. This model of e-commerce, provides a truly decentralized way for people to start business ventures without the need to pay fees to a third party, or go through lots of hurdles just to list an item online. The platform allows people to buy/sell items with Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, and some other highly-popular coins on the market today. While it works as intended, I often wonder if the same thing could be implemented within the ETH blockchain?
I mean if we had access to a decentralized application which serves to be an "eBay alternative", it would be quite revolutionary. So far, I haven't seen something for ETH, which leaves OpenBazaar as the only option available today for decentralized e-commerce. Once someone develops a dApp which serves to be a decentralized eBay-like marketplace, it could become truly revolutionary. Do you think something like this is possible? What are your thoughts?
