It depends what you are looking for. I mean what specific informations.
Coinmarketcap gives you market informations, there are news websites about bitcoin/crypto. There are gambling sites, crypto tools websites, wallet websites etc.
Too much to list them all, please specify what your need in more details.

Well, I follow mostly some users or pages on Twitter like: @cryptomanran, @ErikVoorhees, @coinpaprika, @Coinicarus etc. but when it comes to websites I like cointelegraph.com

Here's my own list below that newbie should know and use to learn about trading and other crypto tools.

- List of bitcoin self and hosted payment processor
- Gekko it is a free open-source trading bot
- http://bitcoinwisdom.io/ is used for technical or trading analysis to predict the price of bitcoin or altcoin.
- https://cryptowat.ch/ same as the above.
- List of crypto Debit and credit card
- https://cryptomining-blog.com/ a blog mostly for a crypto mining

I hope newbies will check this list because they can use it as a tool and learn from these sites.

Cointelegraph is one more to be added to the sites with others mentioned which gives the latest news coverage about crypto space.But as a newbie you don't need all these stuffs just having knowledge about how to select exchanges and how to secure your wallet will be enough and bitcointalk forum is great source of all the information related to crypto currencies.
