For long term investment, it's still a good time to buy altcoins.
in the past few days, altcoins rise but only few of them, majority are bitcoin forks while other major altcoins has not rise yet.

For example, ETH still stays below $200, and that's very cheap IMO.
once it pump, it could probably go back to $1000 and that would mean good profit.

IF bsv did it, I don't think ETH can't.

I think now is the right time to buy the alts now.  Bitcoin's price has adjusted from $ 8k9 to $ 8k6 and now is a good time for us to buy more top alts.  The bear market is over and we should prepare for the bull market at the beginning of this Q2, usually the alts will pump hard at this point just like last June.  I suppose we have all reason to buy the top alts, don't hesitate to help the cows run further.

Altcoins are bound to recover at some point in the future but I honestly do not see another year like 2017 happening to altcoins, that year was incredible and anyone that bought altcoins a few months before could have gotten rich but people are a lot more sceptical about altcoins and this is going to be especially true when bitcoin is going to go through the halving, most investors are not going to put any attention to altcoins but you can take advantage of it by accumulating altcoins for a fair price and then selling them for a high price in the future.

I prefer to invest in new altcoins because these are the coins that are expected to be very promising but before buying I will spend time analyzing. I think any project has its own risks, but if you choose a good project, your chances of making a profit will be much higher than the old altcoins. You need to assess and make your decision as early as now, since halving is approaching and most of the time once halving take place the value of alts also rises high together with bitcoin. Buying now is very important to make a much higher chance of gaining big but make sure to buy right coins in order not to lose your investment, keep researching,.

I am not sure when the prices of Altcoins will start rising, but I also think that it can't be worse. Altcoins prices have been falling so long that in my opinion it is impossible that there would be no recovery in such a young market. Even if it's not the end of the bear market, it's definitely a good time to buy Altcoins.

This is the right time to start researching altcoins again, just because altcoins time is coming up doesn't mean all altcoins will go up.

Pick the correct one and you can be very lucky this year, pick the wrong one and you will miss out on the bitcoin halving that supposedly will increase the price like hell.

People are forgeting that bitcoin has a halving this year and it is expected to go up until 2021, maybe right before halving, maybe during halving, maybe after it, maybe looong after it but definitely before 2021 they expect an increase from it which probably will yield an increase due to hype around it.


So, if you want to invest into an altcoins know what you are going against, sure a good altcoin that pick and well researched could increase more than bitcoin, sure maybe bitcoin won't go up at all, but know what you are against before doing whatever you end up deciding in the end.

The bull is coming but looks like later this year as you said. Sentiment still hasn't zeroed after June 2019 rally which left even more holders at $10k+ prices. Firstly, you need some time before people forgot their friends stories of losing money. Secondly, people who got in high and sold low and lost money will regain faith only after we get new ATH as they could finally tell themselves 'damn i was right, i should have hodled, lets try again'. Also this regulatory shit has to calm down even more. People got to forgot about Libra fail.

I stumbled across an article earlier about how altcoins are following the trends of the early Bitcoin days. The charts look identical to 2011-2012 Bitcoin. This is huge if this trend continues. This would mean we're basically buying altcoins at around the $30 Bitcoin equivalent today. I wish I could find the article again. It was somewhere on Google news. Definitely worth a read if one of you stumbles across it.

It has started to grow a few months before halving and it was not after the halving. The bullish trend after halving will be a long term bullish trend. bitcoin gets its last halving on 2016 but it was getting a lot of impact at the end of 2016 and you can see that if that was a long term impact.

This is a good time to consider, but you need to be careful because there are some coins in this market that are being manipulated. I think currently should only invest in top 5 coins to ensure profit because the crypto market is very unpredictable now and if not careful, you will spend a lot of time waiting. Also, you may consider investing in some new projects but be careful because of a lot of scam projects.

By all means always keep calm when investing and should not rush to make decisions because the bear market can still come back unexpectedly and will certainly cause damage to investors.
