I have not been able to provide this Localcoin exchange, it is safe to trade there, I have never tried it there, see data from Coinmarketcap https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/localcoin/ data is not displayed so I hope you should be on that ever try it.

According to their roadmap, it should be on the 4Q of this year for their OTC release but it seems no progress*. And looking at their bounty thread, it looks like the payout was just made several weeks ago.

They have a large number of members in their Telegram group. You can ask the details there.

I think you should know that there's no such thing as 'secure' here in crypto sphere. Sooner or later those cyber criminals will fight an exploit.

The exchange Twitter page says the it's erc20 based exchange, meaning it's limited to Ethereum tokens, right?
I wonder how truely decentralized the exchange is though ... this interests me the most.
It doesn't have alot of reviews on the internet unfortunately.  You probably should go through the exchange Bitcointalk thread to guage the opinion of genuine users about the exchange quality of service.

 dont heard about the localcoin exchange but you are correct about your where abouts  . decentralized exchange really work independently or without a central authority  .

 that simple means that dex exchange are good because they are free from manipulations or also on kyc  . you can trade anonymously with them but this still wont mean that they are safe/secure   .  you must still do your own research about the exchange itself .

i already heard about this project but i don't interested to use this because the trading volume is very low and the price for each coin too.

As per their road map still they didn't launch their exchange for public usage so you can't use them until they announce their launch.If it is decentralized then it is suppoed to be best exchange but not all the exchanges claims that they are DEXs are not completely DEXs so let's wait for the reviews and the use it.

As time passed by since market is still bearish and some already planned become change like they extend. Nowadays, there are a lot of projects have experience the difficulties to launch as they just leave a message and the user have nothing to do but wait the exact date or day for the next move of the team.
