Same situation was in the end of 2018, sometimes there are many cool projects, sometimes no, bounty is not very stable thing like all cryptomarket and depends on situation on the market. Nowaday situation not means that bounty is dead, it is temporary i think, there are couple of great bounties right now.

Perhaps you were pertaining to ICOs because some of the projects are hardly to get their target and even so, let say they succeed in reaching their softcap but the real challenges is if they will succeed on listing it on top exchange. Bounty nowadays are not a good option indeed due to the fact that we were bear market but the good thing is most of them are not ICO but rather an IEO which listing on exchanges won't be a problem anymore. Let's just wait for bull market to comes and we can test out IEO if they are effective of way of getting a profit.

Not all bounty end up failed, some bounty ends successful and gives payment to their members a good amount of token, so that there are still promoting new projects. Let's not compare those who fail to those who success cause its unfair to others who are successful to their project but of course we cannot blame those who are already afraid to join bounty again.

Don't make it a bounty hunter as your main job, keep in mind that now it's not like 2 years ago, unstable market conditions make new projects more difficult to develop and it's true that on average a project doesn't reach the soft cap at the moment, some the reason is because investors prefer Bitcoin or Ethereum. I think it's okay to promote the project for now, even though we only get Shitcoin, keep in mind that the world of crypto is unexpected, so while it's not risky and there's no scammer, I think it's legitimate.

Downtrend is making the market worse and investing during this period only makes you lose because of the fact that in recent days the value of Bitcoin and some altcoins are collapsing. Your colleagues are still very young for cryptocurrency. Your colleagues is just wasting their time. You aren't following your colleague decissoim. By top exchange IEO now only few coin are listed coin. Now bounty hunting is easy and not difficult as you have information.

several is success and other project is failed it is true fact. why the IEO reference as an example must always be Harmony and Temtum, whereas there are more IEO failures than successful ones out there. I don't believe in a good market that provides IEO. although it doesn't hurt if it's as a reference to follow the bounty but my recommendation is don't trust the good market too much despite having a good reputation, there is no guarantee. better do further research before deciding to join a bounty campaign or investment.

They don't have an interest with at first, and there is no reason to give trust to bounties that never keep their promises. They keep lying to the community and it leads to the doubts of investing in them. Its true that you can earn from bounty but i want to see always a legit project which can establish and can make more believe on crypto to the world . I think the creative people are starting to come up with great project whats really need in crypto .Just remind a god project never scam and they will always been success .You have to promote the legit project not to join on scam project and promote blindly .So make a plan how to find a legit project and promote it hen definnitly you can earn from there as well.

You must see the fact that even those good new projects that already traded in the market has already started to be traded below the ico price and that means the market is not even taking the performance of the project itself as the main indicator. Remember the performance doesn't always mean if that will create a good usability for the token.

I am of the opinion that any project can list on any exchange as long as there is a demand for the coin. Many people are misled by hypes and marketing. they think listing on a big exchange makes a good project. Well, it doesn't. If the project does not develop and has no demand for use by people then it will end up being a failure with billions of shitcoins.

This situation is not new and everybody is aware that investors are not more interested in ICOs investment due to the insecurity of the system while exchange site stands as escrow behind them and the project team per the IEO system which is the reason why they enjoy investing in IEO but IEO still dont guarantee that the investors won't be scam or prove the project being successful.

I do not think you should be bothered about what your friends said that they quitted crypto becuse some projects could not reach soft cap. Everyone has a choice to make as to what to do and not to do. There could have been a reason why you joined crypto. The purpose for which you joined is what you should focus on because there are still some great projects out there with great rewards for their participants. I would advice you keep moving with crypto and know the kind of projects you will participate in. Not all crypto projects are bad. If you can create time to research well on projects before you partake in them,  you will find out that there are still better ones. Let your own conviction be the basis for your decision.

The OP various of question but i can see people touching only aspect of his questions. Firstly, quitting is definitely a bad plan because it doesn't provide any adequate solution.
Secondly, the OP and his friends need to step up their knowledge on how to select good bounty project cause the crypto business are not like before.
Thirdly, project not reaching it softcap or listed on low ranking exchange site doesn't mean the project will not be successful if the team involving are actually serious and not after the money.
