i loss my btcs after i updated mycellium then i restore and dont see my btcs!!

hi there, i am really worry,  i know my btcs are in the blockchain not in the wallets

I updated mycellium movil wallet today it had sincronizacion problems so i try to recover in other wallet using my seed,  i first try to recover in exodus android wallet and ifter it finished it said i only had a tiny btc balance instead my full btc balances,  i surprised by that then i fhout maybe was son incompatibily with bit39 or something like that then i try to recover in other phone with fress install of mycellium wallet,  then star to sincronizing and naver finished,  after some minute i try to recover in blockhain androdi wallet,   after i recovery there i saw the same tiny amount of btc i saw in exodus restauracion so my BTCS GONE?    i am trying to check the transaccion history but i found a lot os trange readings and deposits in btc with 0 value,  i am still trying to work with this but i am seriulis thinking my btc are gone and i still dont know what happend.    PLEASE can i get some hekp with this terribly problem?  thanks.


checking my history transaccion in the restored blockhaing android wallet i see varius deposit to my  btc adress that said i got 0 btc  but when i checked with web explorer the hash i see   i got some btc in that transaccions,   so maybe my restored  had some kind of incombatibility?  and thast why is not show me all the btc i really had?

Do you have a PC? Download Electrum on ELECTRUM.ORG (only legit website), optionally verify its signature by following this guide and then restore your Mycelium wallet by following these steps:

1. When creating the Electrum wallet, choose: Standard Wallet -> I already have a seed -> Write your seed -> Click on "Options" -> Select "BIP39 seed" -> Next;
2. Select "legacy (p2pkh)" -> Next.

See if you see your balance in this new wallet. Also, please confirm me if you addresses start with a "1...", since I have not used Mycelium for some time so I don't know if it started supporting Segwit (addresses starting with bc1... or maybe starting with 3...)

Then when doing the above, select "p2sh-segwit (p2wpkh-p2sh)" instead of "legacy (p2pkh)" after putting your seed, checking BIP39 seed and pressing Next.

hi there,  i wanted to thanks again for your help, i could recover in electrun for pc with the opcion you give to me.  after that i manage to see my corret btc balance.   then at the end i could move to my hardware wallet,  but again your help was incredible.   thanks.     about the verificacion of elecctrun i got and error so at end i see carfully from where i was doanload and take the risk since i could not verificate the firm becasue when i put the code it supose i will get on line and hit there and that line never appear. just to let you to know.

What error you are getting when you are verifying Electrum?
Always verify the signature of Electrum if it fails or the signature doesn't match possibly the Electrum you downloaded is fake.

Let me ask if what version of Electrum you installed? and maybe you didn't follow the guide carefully from the link above.

Next time make sure to verify the Electrum file for safety purposes.

What error you are getting when you are verifying Electrum?

Most likely the somewhat "scary" (but not "bad") warning that Kleopatra gives ("The data could not be verified") or the GPG commandline gives ("gpg: WARNING: This key is not certified with a trusted signature!") that you get by default if you haven't personally "trusted" ThomasV's PGP key and manually added it to your trusted keychain.

As long as the signature checks out (ie. you see something like "gpg: Good signature from "Thomas Voegtlin (https://electrum.org) <thomasv@electrum.org>" [unknown]" on the commandline output (or by clicking "Show Audit Log" button in Kleopatra)... then everything is OK and the "warning" can be ignored.
