quick tips to ensure your own security on the Internet:
1) Hide in the net. Use the hidden services. Use tor for anonymity. Yes, Thor users are targeted by the NSA, but it works for them. The less visible you are, the safer you are.
2) Encrypt your communications. Use TLS. Use IPsec. Once again, even though the NSA keeps an eye on encrypted connections, and it has exploits against those protocols, you're protected more than without encryption.
3) Suppose your computer can be hacked, then it will require the NSA to work and risk-they may not want to do it. If you have something really important, use the "air barrier". When you are at risk, it is advisable to buy a new computer that has never connected to the Internet. Thus, you will not initially give the opportunity to link your secret data with your network history, which will complicate the task of investigation. Next, if you need to transfer a file, it is advisable to encrypt it on this protected computer, and then transfer it to your network computer using a USB flash drive. To decipher something-it is necessary to do everything in the opposite order.
4) Be suspicious of commercial encryption products, especially from large manufacturers. Most crypto products from major us vendors have backdoors for the NSA, and many foreign ones probably do too. It is reasonable to assume that foreign crypto programs also have backdoors for foreign intelligence agencies. Systems running with the original keys are vulnerable to the NSA.
5) Try to use widespread cryptography that is compatible with other implementations. For example, it is more difficult for the NSA to install a backdoor in TLS than in BitLocker, because a TLS implementation from any vendor must be compatible with other TLS implementations from other vendors, while BitLocker must be compatible only with itself, giving the NSA more scope for change. And, since Bitlocker is proprietary, there is much less chance that anyone will become aware of these changes. Use symmetric algorithms on top of public key algorithms.
It is advisable to know and use gpg, Silent Circle, Tails, OTR, TrueCrypt, BleachBit technologies. Yes, most of these things are complicated for the typical Internet user.  The NSA has turned the Internet into a huge controlled platform, but they're not magicians. They are constrained by the same economic realities as we are, and our best defense is to make their control as expensive as possible. Believe in math and network encryption algorithms. Encryption is your friend. Use it, do everything to make sure nothing is compromised.

VPN provides you Internet access according to your rules: complete security of your Internet connection anonymity, freedom of access to the information you are interested in and the virtuality of your location.

Always remember that this privacy/security features may not really be anonymous or safe. So don't put your trust in them... or better still, don't get lured into a false sense of security.
In my opinion, you'll get a better anonymity on the real/physical world than on the internet.
One of the best place to store things is in your head. Your brain cannot be read despite what paranormal videos or normal movies try to teach. No one can read your mind, not even satan. "They" probably can read your thoughts.
So the most sensitive information should not be online. It should be written down or memorised.

VPN doesn't provide complete security, the VPN service provider knows which site you are surfing at that is why we have to use TOR browser which gives complete anonymous but you need to make sure your connection is secured after connecting to TOR network by running DNS leak test.

I can give you some information. Computers tablets and phones connected to the VPN network is not difficult, however, with the devices of the Internet of things is not so simple. For them, the best option would be to install a router with VPN  翻牆topvpn.tw  protection. Then both incoming and outgoing data will be protected. Some routers come with built-in VPN software. When using a virtual private network, no one will see your real IP address because instead of it, the VPN address will now be recognized.
In addition, the Internet connection itself will be encrypted so that no one will see the data that you download, download or send. Encryption is a way of converting readable text into an unreadable set of codes. An additional level of protection that most VPN services have - their own DNS of domain names - is the Internet phone book in which text URLs are identified with the corresponding IP addresses. The DNS system allows you to enter a site name for example avast.ru instead of a long sequence of numbers. Cybercriminals can monitor DNS queries to track your activity on the Internet, but the DNS system in VPN services is designed to prevent them from using additional encryption.

When it is necessary to gain access to the corporate network, it is safe to transfer important information through open communication channels to hide your traffic from the watchful eyes of the provider, to hide your real location when carrying out any not quite legal or completely illegal actions, usually resort to using a VPN.

you have listed a lot of positive activities that can be done with a VPN. I also heard that in addition you can still change your IP address. but a lot of interesting paid services or if Yes then how much they cost. there is generally something similar to VPN.

Can I change the IP address using the VPN service ?! This is a very nice feature. I just thought that this procedure is a very laborious process. And here it turns out that you can use only one program. I have to try this.
