Personally, I only like to deal with people sr+ in the currency exchange if its for fiat to crypto, is there any way there can be a filter added for a certain rank and above to be shown? It also gets rid of those random locked topics from newbies that won't get much of a response (because they're likely to scam anyway).

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Found someone that created a "bash script" for filtering topics by higher ranks.
- I also tried looking for a mod on SMF forum but had no luck.

With the increase in central platforms and the difficulty of buying anonymously, I think it is better not to add any restrictions for newbies, especially that subboard (currency exchange.)
It is better to add more mods to that section, learning newbies to the escrow, and promise a negative trust to the scammers.

thanks, that’s amazing.

Have you used it recently? Most fiat transaction s can be charged back by newbies so it's best to avoid reading their threads in order to find legitimate higher ranking requests.

I think there are still a few decentralised exchanges you can be anonymous on (local bitcoins added kyc to everyone recently also) so they're probably a good stop for newbies.

@sfr, thanks I'll take a look.
