Whatever the collateral percentage is and whatever the yearly returns is, there's literally NO WAY I'm going to lend money to a telegram group. Imagine a scammer so bad at stealing money that they don't even bother to spend some money to rent a server and start a website.

Not only that! If indeed it turns out to be scam, then there is no way he can recover his funds because he is dealing with mostly anonymous individuals with no known office address, identities, etc., which in short, he is dealing with ghosts!

Maybe he can file a legal complaint but I'm sure he will just be naming his respondents as John Doe's and Jane Doe's!

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

You know it is a scam. It doesn't make sense. Why would someone give you 10x more what you give them? That is all you need to know. "happy" users can just be bots or alternative accounts or maybe it is a group of scammers that split their ill-gotten gains at the end of their devious deeds. I don't think telegram is the right platform to find somewhere to get a loan from.

"So where did you get the loan to pay off your new house" "on Telegram" Can you not hear how that sounds?

You should listen to your friends. Do not trust most proofs you see online because screenshots can be edited and blockchain transactions doesn't proof anything. There are groups that sends transactions among themselves just to deceive people like it's a real transaction.
If you are in need of loan, it's better to go to bank, or here on this forum if you have a good reputation. I won't advise you to go for crypto lending platform because the collateral are always x2 of the amount you want to borrow.

Very obvious scam wise move you asked first here before falling into this trap, why would you send a bitcoin collateral if you want to loan a bitcoin? Other lenders ask for altcoins instead but its not even trusted because you are dealing with people you dont know the reputation in a random telegram group, there are plenty of this kind beware.
