booogabooo sent me a PM directing me to my lending thread, where he posted a loan request (the same request as quoted below.)  After briefly researching the literally worthless token he's offering at "170% collateral," I deleted his post as spam.  What I didn't know at the time is he plastered the whole lending board with this spam.

Upon further investigation, I noticed the link he provided for his token points an "exchange" with fake activity.

It's easier to quote @Timelord2067 here for the other details:

Loan Amount: 0.0015 BTC
Reason for Taking out a Loan: private
Amount to be repaid: 0.002
Repayment Date: 30.11.2019 (with the option of extension or reduction while maintaining 10% per month)
Type of Collateral: ASK token as 170% collateral (https://www.exonium.one/e/accounts/trade?s=ASK_CSM)
BTC Address: 17oF1Xd9McbbofiVN6k3eV9AkgC8JdXa8b

Hi booogabooo and thank-you for your application. [1], [2].

Unfortunately it is denied as I am only doing small loans primarily to test out the lightning network.

*Edit*

Am half asleep - booogabooo hit up five lenders simultaniously:

Darkstar_ [1], [2] zazarb [1], [2] shasan [1], [2] Royse777 [1], [2] (and myself)

TL;DR:  Sure, he's only asking for $10, but he's getting red-tagged.

Good thing that you exploded him.

Scammer was practicing for a larger scam later perhaps? Nice to see @suchmoon handing out seven merits for a post that is 50% my work quoted.

booogabooo looks like a shill account for sure, not only from the loan requests he is posting recently but due to his support towards a ponzi or scam token AskBrains.

The token he is referring to as an collateral has an ANN thread here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5165263.0

Most of the accounts posting on that thread are already busted for offering bumping services. You can check more details here.

I even think the account is also a part of the same ring and just trying to pull some BTC dust out by asking stupid loans. Pretty lame way of scamming.
