I'm always been bullish on Ethereum even on the times that people are questioning it, and now that they are shifting to Proof Of Stake, there's a lot of store for Ethereum, but I don't think they will become a serious threat to Bitcoin, I like it that they have a stronghold in the second place, they deserve to be in the second place, they have a lot of good community support and they offered a lot to the community.

Ah but that will not always be the best choice to bet. Some may think the hardfork will bring a huge update to the ethereum platform but i was seeing the different thing just like the hardfork will not give anything to the price of ethereum. As major coin and it becomes the best place to bet but not about the volatility. Litecoin hardfork has become the real proof.

   We can't expect hard fork to have effects right after, some time needs to pass first. I wouldn't compare Litecoin hard fork
and cutting miner rewards in half with Ethereum upgrade to 2.0 and becoming POS.
   I think in long-term we can be optimistic. Both things are good in their own way. There is less and less Litecoin, and Ethereum
is becoming POS, less electricity needed, more people can stake, it can make Ethereum very desirable for new investors.

For the hacking incident happened on upbit I will be cautious to buy these days since provably it could lead for another dump since provably it can create panic to the people since for sure they will worried on the current are t state of the ethereum. But hopefully it will not affect so that we will not see any bad impression since we are almost at year 2020 and we would provably see a good things happened if there's no bad scenarios will block it's way.

Surely, the next hardfork will create FOMO around Ethereum and if you look deeper, the next hardfork is going to bring a lot of changes and make ETH a better crypto currency, but with such huge BTC dominance it is hard to predict if the price will grow.

Well, we're getting near to ETH 2.0
Such development is what people are waiting for now. In hope that after eth 2.0 we're going to see another price to increase. It might be kinda hard to reach the all time high, but I think it has a very big chance to reach a great price by next year. Still, whatever it is you have to know there's always risk whether if it's the right time to get into eth or whatnot.

It had never been late to buy Ethereum.
It is cheap after the fall of its ATH which is $1k.

But the problem is, there are cheaper coins which is also in the top 5 when it comes to trust rating.
That would be XRP.
Imagine how cheap is that under $1. You could get a lot of it in hopes of getting maybe $2 a piece as it goes on.

Right now things are a bit down in price so I believe it is a good idea to buy eth and bitcoin. With ether 2.0 coming up I am sure it will create new excitement and due to the fact that you need a high amount of eth to stake I think many people will be buying eth to reach the minimum to stake. I know for sure we will see some staking pools and well as tears when the pool owners decide to exit scam.

It all depends on what kind of results a person wants to achieve and how long his investment will be.  If we consider long-term investments in Ethereum, then the price of $ 200 or $ 500 is not the limit, since we remember the maximum price level for Ethereum of $ 1,300.  This is at least what Ethereum is capable of.  I, too, have recently been considering selling some of my assets in order to buy Ethereum and leave them for long-term storage, since the current price level may be one of the lowest, which means it is profitable to buy.

why would they panic if they arent the ones that get hacked ? panic because they think that hackers will sell what they got? no its not easy for them to sell it instantly because right now authorities are now tracking them  tracking thier wallet if it will leave a trace and if ever there are huge activity or shady activity goin on in other exchanges people will always suspect and link it to the hackers  . this is why i dont think that this hacking can cause an imediate dump  . eth in the other hand isnt the only coin that is affected with it but eth today is still cheap and its still best buy .

Agree that currently Ethereum prices are near their bottom support range so good time to pick some and watch the market for any coming dips to keep adding on spikes lower.

Ethereum no doubt is the most undervalued coin at the moment. Keeping in view the current bearish market trend I think ethereum will further come down. If you are looking for long term investment buying ethereum at the current price of 155 USD is not bad as it involves minimum risk of loss.
