Am not a lender but i can tell you that new altcoins are not a valid collateral and lender has nothing to garantees by accept an un-known token. I doubt if anybody may lend you 0.05 btc even if his one of the team members you mentioned.

Why don't you try with an "unsecured loan"? I also doubt if any lender can accept to trust you but may be you can ask one of them before applying officially. However, you should confirm that you are a trusted forum member, as there is no restrictions for lenders to accept or deny your request even if it matches his unsecured lending terms.

this is a ridiculous amount of vig I am well aware, but I am taking a massive risk that

You came here asking a Non Collateral loan (since any kind of IEO/ICO/IEU/CMNO/WTFEVER token, is not considered as a Valid Collateral), you get an offer due TMAN is on a flyer and you still discuss it like you offer gold!
