How much of your money only needed for gambling and others is for family

I am still a student though but somehow I feel what the OP said. The responsibility is bigger than what we play, than what we gamble. In addition, some of chronic gamblers are rich that is why they are not worrying on what is about to happen because of overspending. Such thing may imply for gambler who are not that wealthy to disregard such issues. That is why disciplined must always be in their heads.

if you think you can gamble with full responsibility why not  ? many students that also play gambling but they can divide thier time and money verry well  .

Isn't cheating means you're making a way to satisfy yourself in terms of needs or addiction?
You cheat because you can't stop yourself from spending more than the allocated money to gamble. It only shows how much you are addicted into playing.
It is not normal, it means that you can't stop yourself even after having a limited amount to spend. Also, it is correct that spending a day is not normal because instead of spending your free day with your family, you choose to gamble.

That is the common thing I always witness with my co-player, they really wanted to set a target amount of money to spend, but they can't stop themselves to take another game after spending the allocated amount. Compromising those funds which are intended for your living responsibilities specially if you are a family man is a total bullsh*t for someone to commit on.

You know that you do have a family to feed then why would tend to lose it all in gambling? It do only shows on how irresponsible you are as a father/husband.

I think we already know that gambling was a risky way to invest your money and at any time you could lose your money and either way you could easily win the money.
With that i think gambling need discipline making money in gambling was one of the best way to earn a profit especially in cryptocurrency I think earning a good amount of money daily was already enough a lot of times when we keep on winning we just wanted to play and play and keep on winning the game and in the end end up losing your money.

I hear some story about a person who won millions in the lottery but sad to hear that he easily spend all of it in less than a year and turning him back to a miserable life. I can't imagine how'd he spend all of it for a very short period of time. And I find out that because of his addiction to gambling cause him to suffer big losses and even his assets are already sold.
How really bad it was when we are out in control. Everything will change and every member of the family will suffer this irresponsible act.

How unfortunate for such situation.They do already able to hit jackpot and changed up their status in life but they do waste up such opportunity.For sure there were lots of people who are in the same situation or feet where they do already have that financial stability or capacity but they do abuse it by means either some of addictions ex. gambling, wasting up to non sense wants etc.

Just like investing, the same advice "Invest with your spare money" should also apply in gambling. If I understood your thread title currently, i would say the idea of reserving your gamble money before that of family, should never become a habit assuming you're an average gambling but supposedly you're a professional gambler and it's your source of income then it's understand to allocation for your investment (in this case gambling) before anything else.

The idea of not fueling your gambling capital before anything else is mainly for the average gambling as such act can become addictive, mostly costing you all your funds.

Gamblers should need to know what they are doing if they have families or children that are studying. I know people who limit themselves even how the are influenced to play more but they have child that needs to pay tuition that next day so even he wanted to play all he just do is watched. I know the feeling of limiting yourself especially if you're in the area we're everyone we're gambling too. This is during our break time at work. Not how much it should be on what situations.

It's like a rule for smart gambling... If you have money, don't spend all. Learn to allocate for the most important first. You have to make sure you can manage all of your daily expenses, the basic needs. Then save some money for future and emergency uses before doing what you want with the remaining mondy. It all starts with small winnings where they are not able to control themselves and keep on betting until luck runs out and they lose a lot.
