And also consider those people who are gambling just to be entertain only. Family first before everything else, you should feed first the family before spending some of your money in a very risky way which is gambling.

Those poor people who spend all of their funds in gambling are not playing gambling for the fun. There intent is to change their fortune and help their families by winning something big. Their aim is right but way of working is wrong. Because if they lose in gambling, then the small money which they have with them will also be gone making their troubles more.

It's good if you gamble for the sake of your families' needs like foods, clothes and other things that is necessary for you to survive every day. Here is my calculation if I will going to gambling and set an amount of money that I am going to gamble. I split in my money into three times, 85% will give it to my wife, 10% into gambling and the rest 5% is for my pocket just for in case or just a savings as well. Of course, I will give the highest amount to my family because they are the reason why I working and seeking money just to feed them. Since my habit is gambling and I can't leave but at least I can control it and gamble with limitations.

It's extremely easy to forget your responsibilities and all when you're heavily addicted to something, and it's not always easy to realize you've deserted those responsibilities once you're in the thick of an addiction, though I do agree that you should always be managing your money well and practice good spending habits while you're still doing well so you hopefully don't ever become addicted to gambling in the first place.

For me personally, I only spend a fraction of my salary on gambling and I actually put most of the other money into my other hobbies instead. That is the rule of gambling. Do not regret what you lose because the root of the loss is your decision at all. Its just a matter of being a responsible person.If you do know that you do have priorities in life then you should really be serious on that.Dont mess up everything just because you do want to gamble.
Always think that you do have a family to feed and raise and using up money for other purpose which compromise their state is a total dumb thing to be done by someone.Dont let that thing to happen

That's lovely to hear when you have changed at all after marriage, looks like you have a happy marriage after all. Our responsibility with our family should be our top priority. It's not wrong to gamble as long as you know your obligations and you don't left it behind.

Only fools would consider out gambling as an investment.Its never suited nor fitted into that criteria.It can give out huge profits in a short time but it would also having the equivalent when it comes to losing.
