Yes, when it comes to gambling some people stop counting their money, and they can lose even $100 in a second, forgetting how hard for them was to earn the money, how long it took, and what they could buy with the money for the members of their family. I'm not saying that we should always buy something for our family instead of relaxing(if gambling makes us relaxed), because we do need relaxation, especially when hard working, but if weren't buying presents for our loved ones for weeks or even months, while we were gambling away dozens of USD during that time, we should stop and rethink our way of life.
Its a different story when you do already spend much money with gambling rather than with your family.Money isn't just solely for spending but also for saving for future purpose or plans.Gambling is for entertainment but if you already exceed the time and money spent then somethings wrong with you that should be changed up if you don't like to experience problems later on.I cant even afford to lose $100 for a single bet and
my biggest
budget for gambling if I do play is $20 and that's already enough for me and im ready to lose that amount without any stress and regrets.Well, if you don't gamble often, I mean, if you gamble once per week, or once per month, I can perfectly understand you. But if it's a daily thing, I don't think your wife would be happy about your losing $500-$600 per month to gambling. Unless you are making $6k+ monthly, I think you should discuss it with her, because if it's not stressful for you, it can be for her.
