Even if you have friends and to talk many, if you really want to hide your identity then you have the option to do that. Technology is so widely spread, and technology could actually make your identity even if you are a very well known person. If satoshi would talk to someone, he can do it without his identity being exposed. So OP, instead of focusing on topics related to figuring out who satoshi is, I rather suggest for you to focus on productivity and news concerning positive impacts to bitcoin. In that case we could contribute to the market when we help bitcoin to have market adoption.

First of all, what are you even gonna get out of knowing who Satoshi's friends are? Are you expecting to receive bitcoins? And anyone can say they know Satoshi or are friends with him. I'm amused that you seem to be really sold that you've met someone who knows the guy/gal/group. We're not even sure what Satoshi Nakamoto is lol. It's the same as believing people's speculation about the price of BTC.

Do you think that all those efforts to uncover Satoshi Nakamoto didn't consider that? I don't believe all of those discovery missions missed this very simple step. But who are those people who had the chance to correspond with Satoshi himself? Hadn't they all corresponded by way of the web? Was there anyone among them who really talked to Satoshi Nakamoto in person? I think there is no one.

People who knew Satoshi in real life or on the Internet could easily don't know him as Satoshi Nakamoto, creator of Bitcoin. Running after the people who might have known Satoshi Nakamoto on a personal and even professional level may not be a good idea, in the first place. I am sure these "friends" are respecting the desire of the man to remain very private and not to surface anytime soon. As a man of mystery, it would really be hard to peel the layers covering the whereabouts of Satoshi and I think it is about time that we stop there. In case he can still be alive and assuming that he is a real person, maybe at the right time years from now our guy will just voluntarily show up. There is no need to spend hours and hours peering into many possibilities about his eventual absence on the scene.

if you mean in real life then they either don't know the person they were friends with was Satoshi or are respecting his privacy and will never reveal anything publicly.
if you mean online and the communications that took place between Satoshi and some people, then it was either in public (original bitcoin forum, mailing list,...) or through Emails. in both cases he still could save his privacy so these people most probably don't have any additional information compared to the rest of us and even if they do, they are similarly respecting his privacy and not revealing anything to public.

why is finding him so important for someone?

satoshi doesnt wanna be found and if really you will find him, proving its him is not possible because its just him that can only do that. you don't have a choice but to give up the mission to find him. he will just deny it because for all he care, he even leave millions of btc.

you will likely find more scammers if you stalk them than satoshi. people will find more reason to give you merits.

No one knows your identity, if you hide your identity to others, even if you speak in the media, television, magazines and in your own life.

Like Satoshi, his real name is unknown. Only Satoshi's name is known, if in government Satoshi's name is on the list of population records in his country, it is certain that Satoshi was discovered by the local government, facts.

If that's what you think then why don't you conduct your own research to find out the person behind that pseudonym? then tell us what you have find out after researching so we can have an idea about his real identity. If you are curious about Satoshi then explore things on your own, also does it really matter? I mean why don't you guys accept the fact that he doesn't want peoples attention. It's much better if we just respect his decision because I know there is a powerful reason behind it.

It's fairly well known that Satoshi is a smart fella, so it would be fair to assume that he didn't overly talk to people and reveal to them that he was satoshi, and his life was weird in a way it was like he lead 2 of them.

A regular real life, similar to ours. I would assume he would only tell his family and closest friends about his online ID, and it's going to be impossible to track that past.

And an online life, where he actually never linked to any real life features. All of his work is about BTC and technology, and he never talks about his real life on the forum, or anywhere else.

Well he did have friends like Hal Finney however most likely it was nothing more than a cyber friendship. Back then most people just communicated by PM or emails. These days people might communicate by video or audio and I am pretty sure that Satoshi never even had a video/audio conversation with Hal, it was all by PM, posts or emails.

He probably stated from the beginning that he wants his identity to be kept anonymous and most of them respected that. Even if he got close to someone there is a chance of being a falling out and his identity might be exposed.

Very strange that in the first few threads of the Bitcoin Discussion section they are all based on Satoshi. Usually this happens when a bull market has started and not during a sideways or bear market we are currently having.

I think It's not considered as stalking if you are finding the friends of satoshi, I can consider it as discovery, First of all, satoshi's identity is still unknown and you need a further investigation about the primary clue which is satoshi nakamoto.

There are some other factors in finding the friends of satoshi like finding one of the biggest bitcoin holders somehow it can give some clues on finding satoshi's friend.

There are still chances that you can track down who is satoshi nakamoto or the whole group which hide on the name of satoshi nakamoto.

Even if Satoshi have talked to you through online, of course he wouldn't reveal himself. He want to be anonymous. As for her personal friends or family, if they know who the real Satoshi, they won't tell it of course. That's why they are labelled as 'friends' because he can trust them.
