When the market is on the side of growth there won't be big fluctuation, the growth happens gradually and this is because of people investing continuous by that time. Now the scenario is quite opposite, when it is on the down trend the panic makes people to hold or stay calm in the market.

The market is trying to rise to the higher price or the last price, and I think that will need a long time before the price will stay at a price before. No, it's not done by the whales only, but it's from the traders. The traders, primarily the developer of each project trying to raise their coin/token price to the higher rate. But unfortunately, as the market still at the bear market, the price cannot increase higher. We even at the bear market, but soon, it will change to the bull market, so you need to be ready.

Fluctuations are still happening just look at the market now the prices go up and down with the pump last month it was only a few speculations and I think this is not done by the pope because there are many big traders so it can make the market a bear or bullrun, but who controls the current market not done by the pope but just an issue that happened a lot of news that does not wear about the market so many traders panicked and there was a bear market.

There are a lot of factors that influence the price not just traders or big holders. There are several decisions taken on bitcoin in various countries, there are new services created/closed every day. I remember how price dropped when sometime ago an exchange was hacked. So you cannot just think a whale dumped their coins and that caused the drop in the price of bitcoin.

If you personally ask me if a big whale dumps bitcoins that is best for the community because markets becomes more liquid and control is taken from 1 person and shared by more people.

If we think this seriously, it only become an headache. I don't think we need to watch the market every minute just to keep track cause it won't make help instead, it only gives us doubts and become undecided. One possibility is that as you say the market is being manipulated by the whales and I think there is a very high probability of that being the case, however it is also possible that this is a natural occurrence, it is possible that people are getting desperate by the lack of movement in the market of bitcoin and they are deciding to sell their coins, this makes the price to go down and then the whales take the opportunity to buy those coins for a very reduced price.

That's how the market is been like in its entire existence and as a trader you should know better. Bitcoin market is very known to have a unpredictable market and it moves like almost everyday and if you already have enough exposure to the market you should have known better or you should have known your way around it by now. Manipulation on the other hand is more of not directly, it mostly happens when someone says something about the price or spreading false FUDS and many will panic.

We are still uncertain with this events, thus, we cannot yet conclude with a certain reason. What we are thinking is just a mere natural events that could be done specially by whales, which is half-real as of the moment. Well, this might lead us to nowhere. Let us just wait for the incoming halving and wait after a year after that.

I think, currently Bitcoin price is driven by emotions and everyone wants to enter the game to make some profit. few people really care about the functionality and potential of Bitcoin as a decentralized system and as an alternative currency. most of the investors only care about buying cheap and waiting for the price to go continually higher. Thereby, when a market is driven by emotions, everything can happen. such a market cannot be accurately predicted since our emotional nature is unstable.

That's the best answer anyone could give--this is just the market moving the way it does in response to the collective buying and selling of everyone, whether it's whales or little guys.  I'm not sure what OP is expecting, because it sounds like he thinks bitcoin should be moving in predictable patterns.  That's usually never the case.

In any case, bitcoin hasn't been doing much of anything lately except jumping up and down a few hundred dollars, and that's typically what it does when it's stuck in a range.  Nobody ever knows the reason, i.e, who's responsible for the movements, because it's due to everyone who's trading bitcoin.

Manipulation is there but we cant generalize that this is already just the sole reason why this market move on the way we currently seeing.
Taking for example on old markets.Price had never been a steady one as long theres people who do trade (buy and sell) there would always
be those fluctuations and its inevitable.The difference here is that there are certain situation where intensity of movement is way too high which
could create some questions and speculations in mind on what is the reason behind of that.

It's really hard to know the source of price movement because there are lot of factors that can affect Bitcoin's value but one thing is for sure that there are group of people who is trying to manipulate the market for their own interest though its pinpoint them unless they use a single wallet when moving their Bitcoin.

Traders are creating these small fluctuations which is generally less than $500-$1000 and big whales create the bigger one.
The market is doing what it is used to do, bump, dump, period for recovery then the cycle return again.
