Most traders and holders believe that Bitcoin will return in the future. I don't think it is necessary to wait until 2022 for bitcoin to return to the $ 19k price. Perhaps by the end of 2020 or early 2021 Bitcoin will have a strong rise and will most likely surpass $ 20k

Maybe it's best to wait for the result to came
yeah that is more better to do than predicting . when we touch that year ( 2022 ) that would be the time to talk if what do we think about btc now . did it gain or loose ? or it stays the same . after the halving next year since if bitcoins price would grow up for that scenario then we can conclude that we will provably reach to that price( $19k)
let say that after halving the price of btc will increase but will that increase be enought to reach 19k usd ? what if the price will go down again after some time ? you know people will always sell after knowing that btc value increase a little .

I think the 19,000 $ price of bitcoin might be out of reach. As of now investors are more focused on earning and I am sure once bitcoin has reached 15,000 $ price here we will see more volatile price and here we will see investors' skepticism if continued whether they hold or not.

When it comes to Bitcoin 2022 is a distant future. You definetely know how fast and how many times situation can change on a Bitcoin market and it's really hard to predict what will happen with price. I know that 19000$ many see as a magic number they would like to see again and it's possible for price to reach that value but then fall back again as well.

If there is a rally in bitcoin after halving then i should foresee that the price of bitcoin crossing another all time high valuation by 2021 and since you are asking about the price valuation in 2022 we might even see a correction by that time after touching the all time high valuation and these are just my expectations and i hope the market will move higher by 2021.

If the market will continue to behaves the same way as it be, the possibilities that this event will take place. After the halving there's an expected spikes to the current value of bitcoin, speculations will flow and many new investors will bring more money inside the market. The chance of reaching another peak will happen and since OP is looking forward before 2022 that certain value might be possible to achieved after the halving.

25 12.5 6
Thats how much the block reward is changing every time, its a diminishing effect and is not the reason why we'll get 19k. 6 BTC will add up as its a block reward every 10 minutes but its going to be twice as long as happened in 2016 for it to have the same effect that we presume resulted in positivity towards 2017 highs of 19k. My take on change is it can lead to pressure but its not always the direction or result we expect, it can mean transaction costs rise not the value of BTC. Either way if it was a lag of say 18 months previously then 36 months to effect similarly on this change would be reasonable perhaps. We are maybe talking mid 2023 for the next high, I would at least consider that scenario.

Yeah right since it's outrageous to predict on something that is far to be happen since apparently we will encounter many struggles the same on what happen on year 2018 and for sure many people though that the pump will continuously happen since many people predicted good on it so maybe for now it's best for us to feel the market rhythm in year 2021 and predict later once the halving will go thru but for now for me I will focus earning on volatile market these days.

Everything is possible if the movement is on the right track but for sure there are sketchy ways to surpass that's why it's hard to predict if we will go to that price after 2022.

Yes I believe that it will hit $20,000 next year after the halving in May. It may be a few months after the halving but based on the price increase after the last 2 halvings, that’s what I expect.

I don't think after the halving the price would go bullish, i have a doubt about that. If you have to look at the history of halving in bitcoin you will see that halving effect will not trigger a bullish trend for in a short time frame. Most halving effect after a year of halving. So basically we will have to wait for almost two years before we could even see the bull market.

Hi folks, Simple poll here, but not that straightforward to answer (or is it)? Common thinking seems to believe 19k will be very easy to reach in the next two years. I don't want to influence the votes here, but please remember that the crowd can be wrong very often Votes are open for 30 days only (for obvious reasons). I am not making this thread self-moderated so trolling is allowed, people committed to signature campaigns are welcome to post nonsense even though constructive opinions are much preferred. Simple: please vote YES or NO, and explain your vote. The use of TA (technical analysis), trading charts will be very appreciated!! Conspiracy theories, spiritual concepts, astronomy, etc. also accepted. Cheers!! I voted for the yes option, to me there are simply too many signals that point towards that scenario, during this year we saw a recovery that almost touched 14000 so we came close to touch those levels without anything really going on in the market, but during the next year we're going to get the halving which as we know is a bullish indicator for bitcoin and while it is unlikely the price will go up really quickly we have until the end of 2022 for those effects to be felt. Another factor is that you gave it a lot of time, if you were to ask if bitcoin will reach its previous ATH at the end of this year then my answer to that will be a no, but since you gave bitcoin so much time then to me it is almost a certainty that we will touch that price again.

Quite amazing, 26% so far have voted NO, this is more than 1 out of 4 voters, yet no one (except me I think) dares to post their opinion about a bearish market during the next two years. This is quite symptomatic of this forum where bearish views are not so welcome, even though the majority is bullish, you would think 90% at least of the voters would vote Yes, but this is quite far from being the case at the moment.
Reminder: there are two strong prices to follow: 6.4k and 10k-ish. These two prices will dictate what happens in the next two years, go above 10k-11k and it will be a big run, go below 6.4k and the move will be devastating.

This is a bitcoin forum so I find it natural that not many people are going to be happy with those that are predicting a bearish market for bitcoin, if this was a forum dedicated to gold and someone expressed negative views about its future I suppose the same will happen, however I do not really have any problems with people that believe that the market could go down during the next years as long as they give their opinion in a respectful way. What really bothers some of the members of the forum are those that begin to troll the forum and begin to say things like bitcoin is useless or stuff like that because that is simply not true.

19k$ is not something to wait for until 2022 , I am sure we will see more than that after the halving if nothing bad happens 20.000$ should be the realistic price come 2020-2021 probably not the six figures many expecting or equally unrealistic 50-60k , but 200% increase is nothing impossible for bitcoin but I won't be too surprised if it doesn't make it too, bitcoin price is unpredictable and there are too many things that influence it and again I would prefer a 10.000$ price in 2022 and a solid growth from there than a temporary spike to 20.000 and years of decline like we saw in 2017

It might shock you, but reaching $20,000 from where we are today is harder than reaching $60,000 the moment we break $20,000. Currently there are so many resistance levels below the all time high that we have to chew through, that it will likely take longer than people expect to break it. Whenever we finally break $20,000 I honestly don't have a clue where we will peak out. It could just as easily peak out somewhere above the $100,000 level, and that would still be a relatively weak bull run. Markets in general, whenever they break their all time high, they tend to keep increasing for years non-stop. Every dip you are presented will be a blessing to buy into, similar to what we saw happen in 2017 with Bitcoin. These are the dips to buy, not the ones when the trend is about to reverse.

I am very optimistic that in two years bitcoin can reach a price of $ 19,000. because if we look at the bitcoin price chart. bitcoin always increases one year after bitcoin is reduced by half. if later in 2020 bitcoin is reduced by half then bitcoin will go to the moon in 2021. I am optimistic that the price of bitcoin will increase after halving because if demand continues to increase and supply decreases this will make the price of bitcoin increase. and hopefully next year bitcoin will enter the bull market.

yes he said before 2022 that meant 2021 the price of bitcoin might touch ATH 2017. agreed, actually, we were worried when the rapid rise in bitcoin was then a big dump. I prefer to be stable but the rate is at $20k because supply is reduced, so of course, demand must continue to increase, and maybe about future mass adoption can make it even more.

It's still a long way before 2022, and yes bitcoin has positively high percentage to reach $19K again, even if we talk bitcoin to reach $19K in 2020, it more likely to happen. The cycle of bitcoin always repeated, one year after halving bitcoin will reach new ATH, so I assume bitcoin will surpass the last ATH in 2021.
