At-least-1 sent & earned merits users , excludes banned users. Stats!

I am curious on the stats (percentages in particular) of users who earned and gave away merits; the level they did it after excluding Autobanned and Nuked users.

So here you go.

* Updates will be made with new posts, not in OP (likely weekly or monthly)


ABSTRACT

• There are 11487 users who both earned and sent at least 1 merit (since the merit system's birthday), from initial sample with 39147 users.
• Totally, they earned merits 423 478 merits.
• Users who earned above 100 merits account for only 6.9% of total users (11487) but their total earned merits account for 68.2% (of 423 478 total earned merits). Impressively! (see the summary table below)
• There are two groups of users account for more than 20% of total earned merits: group 11 - 100 (23.9%) and group 1001+ (20.1%).
• The groups 101 - 250 and 501 - 1000 account for nearly the same percentage, at 17% and 17.5%, respectively.
• The lowest group is group 1-10 that accounts for about 8% of total earned merits.

Time passes so fast. As a blink of eyes, 10 weeks passed and as consequences of Covid-19 and the shitty period, I missed updates for the past 10 weeks. How did you scraped all those useful data in this forum? Are you using any sort of Database Management System like MySql, MariaDB etc.? I am just asking out of curiosity since I am taking Computer Engineering course and the table above seems to be similar when I am using Xampp-control and Command Prompt?

I don't scrape data. What I do is using available data dumps from loyceclub, then playing with statistical software.

You can find loyceclub at (Un)official pages that store forum data

To scrape data, you have to set up appropriate time for your alt account because the forum has a strict rule if one scrapes data too fast, AFAIK. This is people who scrape data only use their alt accounts for this task.

Small correction: You're not allowed to download more than one page per second on average. Faster bursts are allowed (such as when I open several pages in background-tabs). If you exceed the limit too long, you'll get a "rate limited" message.
The reason to use an alt-account has to do with security: I don't want to give a VPS access to my main account.
