Investment options for Portuguese citizens

Asking for a friend:

- Portuguese citizen
- has no idea about finance / investments
- wants less risky options (crypto a no-no!)


What are the choices? Deposit rates are close to 0% I believe!

Any helpful info or links would be appreciated.

Are there any relatively conservative and low risk bond funds or fixed income funds that can yield above 5% in Europe?
