He was a forum moderator too. Interesting discovery, with me, in early of 2024. |

It's interesting to see the author of some famous books like Matering Bitcoin, Mastering Lightning Network, Mastering Ethereum, The Internet of money, namely Andreas Antonopoulos, has an account here. He was a forum moderator too.
To be honest, I was surprised. This is the first time I learned about this information. I did not know that aantonop seemed to think that the forum was a place for everyone who wanted to learn Bitcoin. I sent him some merit points and hope he comes back. Also, making decisions in the forum has become less rapid than in the past. |

Indeed, it's quite interesting to know the person behind those amazing books was once an active user of this forum, and based on one of his last posts, it appears that the reason behind his gradual disappearance was how this forum was constructed:
I sent him some merit points and hope he comes back.
Our best bet would probably be Epochtalk [if there'll ever be one]  Also, making decisions in the forum has become less rapid than in the past.
That's the norm when there's more at stake. |

The admin is really taking moderation serious in the forum with the recent change in the Politics and Society board and now a new moderator for the Nigerians on the forum.
This should show those applying for a local board or merit source that theymos checks the data and will act accordingly when he feels the need has arisen for any such change. Congratulations to igehbotz.

I will take a look at it and update the list after checking. If it is only like moderators are inactive last 6 months or last one year, but are still staffs, I won't remove them from the list in OP. Probably your post raises an idea for me that, I can consider to add a new column "Status" for Active/ Inactive." It's not bad idea because today I removed two (unnecessary) columns so I am ready to add one helpful column. |

1) Self-Custody is a right. I put him on Ex-Staff list because I knew he revoked his staff role, but from his reply recently, he only asked theymos to hide his staff badge. And by the way, his registration date is also incorrect

Sincerely speaking when I came across this comment was thinking you are 90 year old who is trying to just have fun around this forum. But from what I understand if you are that old you wouldn't have that time to post here. Maybe I can just take your post to be an Idiomatic expression.
