You know some place is in bad shape when known scammers are part of staff and welcomed as the case with staff member  "malevolent"
He exit scammed over 20000 BTC or gambled away user funds with BitMarket.eu
https://www.weusecoins.com/thirty-six-bitcoin-exchanges-stopped-their-operation/
In civilized world this is instant ban of account not part of staff.

"The existing Visa credit card network processes about 15 million Internet purchases per day worldwide. Bitcoin can already scale much larger than that with existing hardware for a fraction of the cost. It never really hits a scale ceiling."  Satoshi Nakamoto, April 2009          Avoiding taxes is totally legal if you consider and respect the law.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Why the link 'malevolent' leads to a dictionary site? I don't go to visit that site, just know where it is if I click on that link.

You've not provided any evidence just posted a rather bold claim?

Why the link 'malevolent' leads to a dictionary site? I don't go to visit that site, just know where it is if I click on that link.
Probably trying to back up their accusation with the definition of the word "malevolent" which usually means causing malicious harm to other people.

I think you're confusing me with Maciej "M4v3R" Trębacz. He was the one to gamble with Bitmarket.eu user funds on Bitcoinica. And as a tidbit of historical trivia, some of Bitcoinica's funds were stored on Mt. Gox. If you lost anything, take it up with M4v3R (I know he managed to return at least a tiny bit of money years ago, not sure if he continues on making repayments), Bitcoinica and the people behind it, Mt. Gox, and the Japanese and New Zealand's judiciaries for taking so long to sort things out. Luckily for me I withdrew any money I still had at every one of these exchanges months before they collapsed Tongue

As for my forum handle, I picked it up as a random word, I didn't intend on making more than a few posts here. I could change it to something else but since 'benevolent' is already taken, I'll leave it as it is.

EVERYONE sounds like CH or TOAA .... He/us/we  must own 95% of the accounts here.

Never heard of MAL before and have no issue with him at this time.  We only ever present observable undeniable instances  that are independently verifiable as evidence of scamming. Like in your auction scamming case for instance.

The member will produce evidence or he will not. We will review the evidence with everyone else if it is provided. Until then best to refrain from speculation.

20K BTC? that sounds rather a lot though. Perhaps a typo ?

And now you're staff--funny how the attraction to the forum works, eh?

That was when BTC was like $10.
Ugh, makes me wish I'd gotten into bitcoin much sooner than I did.  Must've been a wild time to be a gambler.

So this is a case of mistaken identity here?  And the forum isn't going down the tubes because we have a staff member who gambled away what would become millions of dollars worth of bitcoin?  OK then.  Next drama, please.
you know about as much as TOAA/Cryptocunter spends a month on food? we all know his drug habit is 1000x that
I thought Lauda had the drug habit.  Oh wait, that was an unfounded accusation by QS just like this whole thread is against malevolent (unless OP provides even a shred of proof).

We will review the evidence with everyone else if it is provided.

What's up with the royal "we"?

wasnt it like $5 back then?

Between $5-13 throughout 2012. It was around $13 when M4v3R admitted to gambling with other peoples' money, several months after Bitcoinica's collapse.

And now you're staff--funny how the attraction to the forum works, eh?

Yup, since around mid-2013.

Mahkul and Malevolent is the same user, after 20k BTC where stolen ownership changed
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=129803.msg1413604#msg1413604

UK recently experienced it first hand what it means to harm or destroy the happiness of others.

I suppose if we were to create an account called "omnibenevolent" it would be impossible for it to scam, even if it took your money.
