We have already distributed over 450,000 cookstoves + water filters to the poorest 30% of families in Rwanda, touching the lives of over 1.5 million Rwandans.
Inadequate and unsafe drinking water is the leading cause of diarrheal disease, which alone accounts for more than 500,000 deaths annually in children under 5 years in low-income countries (Pruss 2014).
We are able to achieve a 5% p.a. interest over 10 years through selling CERs (carbon emission reductions)

“Tubeho Neza” literally translated as “Live well” is Maji’s first-of-it’s-kind Clean Development Mechanism project under the United Nations Framework Convention for Climate Change, in partnership with the Rwandan Government and our on-the-ground implementation company, DelAgua.
