Why did my ETC convert to CLO??????????

I just took a look at my wallet after many years and my ETC has disappeared.

The wallet is at https://ethereumclassic.org/etherwallet/

And what is CLO anyways?

Based on this Medium post[1] after a quick Google search, it looks like Callisto(CLO) is a hardfork of ETC. Pretty much 1:1 free CLO for every ETC you have.

With that said, you shouldn't lose your ETC. Can you check the transactions to confirm if it wasn't stolen?

There doesn't appear to be any ETC coming out from the wallet, it looks like no thefts either, but where are my ETCs?

I don't know why you can not see your coins in that wallet, but in block explorer you can clearly see that 190.2930 Ether is in your wallet:

Try to check your transaction history, so you can find out where your ETC is going, CLO or callisto network does not affect your ETC, in some exchanges or wallets ETC holders will get CLO because of the existence of the ETC fork, and that doesn't eliminate your ETC.

Maybe there is the need to update java and flash. He used 4 web browser at a time, and I guess this could be the problem. If you can access it to another browser probably the chrome he had since it looks like its the primary browser he used base upon the screenshot he did.

In history of his address are only incoming transfers, so coins are still there.

I also think that he should update something or try to open this wallet in another browser.
He can also check if the website has a newer version of wallet explorer.

What browsers you used? because it's clearly showing on my end that you have 190 ETC on that address and it's been since 2 years ago.
Try using brave browser, maybe it'll do.

Yeah, it's probably from their side but have you read the comment there? it has given a solution that but I'm not very sure if you should try it since I'm not very familiar with that wallet he suggested. I don't know who the guy is but it seems the most active on that sub-reddit and I don't have experience about that wallet since it will ask your private keys for importing. What you should do now is to look for reviews about that wallet and once it's validated to be okay, you may proceed the next step and try the given solution. But if you've seen some red flags already for that wallet, don't proceed.

At OP you are probably viewing the CLO network you need to use the drop down menu at the top and change it to the etc network to view your balance of ETC

Hi, I already found the answer to my problem, thanks for the help though!

My current problem is gastracker.io only shows me recent transactions when using Opera browser and not Chrome, Firefox, TBB, IE, Edge. Is there a reason for this? Is this a bug?
