Not to sound like a non-believer but projects like this tend to die a natural death because of certain fundamental structures that needs to be put in place before making such bold move. The promoter of this new country for one I don't know his antecedents, neither is he popular enough to even attract the attention of the local government he is currently residing because I don't see an individual no matter the number of followers he has, would be bold enough to declare such in a sovereign country and not have a day with the law of the land but now I think the internet has made things easy but that does not exclude him. Anything announced by Nithyananda shouldn't be believed at all. News like this are just for a good laugh. He is a wanted criminal and is on the run. He had claimed he purchased an island from Ecuador and formed his own country but Ecuador has denied it announcing, "Nithyananda has not been given asylum by Ecuador or has been helped by the government of Ecuador in purchasing any land or island in South America near or far from Ecuador." There are rumors that he is trying to seek asylum in Haiti or Mauritius.

All I needed to see was one video to see this guy is unhingeed. I have no sympathy for any followers, they would have been ripped by anyone anyway. It's good that he was denied asylum and hopefully he'll be found soon.

I have seen his videos and from the starting he came across as a thug to me. All he does is twist science to support his vague ideology and I wonder how people can be stupid enough to follow such cult.
