I am a domain name professional who has been active in the domain industry since 1996; and over the years our company have acquired thousands of domains spanning across a wide range of industry sectors..

Over the past year or so we've been getting a great deal of interest in our crypto related domains (which is awesome!!)... So I thought i would join Bitcointalk to see if there were any active buyers on this forum who also appreciated premium generic domains too..?

To kick off my first domain post I thought I'd see if there would be any interest in > BitGames.com? as this has received several offers via DAN.com over the past month..

We understand the value of premium generic domains; and sold many names like 'Rewind.com' and other brandables for respectable sums so are prepared to wait for the right buyer to come along, be it a year.. or several years! We also respect that some people may not put the same value on our domain assets like we do (which is totally understandable) Whilst others will understand the true value and potential of a name in a heartbeat..

Something we've been saying for many years is this;  "A domain is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it! Nothing more, nothing less.." - We've been at both ends of the spectrum as buyers and sellers so totally get it from both sides.

The above comment coming from someone who is clearly a respected 'Legendary' forum member and owner of some nice generic domains too, is greatly appreciated, thank you!

The 20 BTC is simply a starting point to hopefully get conversions and bids flowing from other forum members who can see the potential the bitgames.com domain has if they were to develop it into a platform offering bit games to end users - It's a cracking brandable name and does what it says on the tin! Well it will if someone develops on it, haha!

I love what you've done with your freebitcoins domain, great work and some nice traffic stats too.. Nearly as good as your Luckgames domain which has some seriously 'awesome' traffic stats and beautiful backlinks which many website owners would die for (that's some serious link juice you have there, very impressive!!).

Hopefully other forums will see the same value in bitgames as you do and puts some bids forward.

Thanks PD for your kind words, you're the second person on this forum to say 20BTC is cheap (BayAreaCoins was the other forum member). It's always great getting positive feedback from fellow domainer's and crypto professionals who are legendary users.

A few forum members have contacted me about building a casino on it, which is something I'm looking deeper into as i know the returns would be 'far' greater over that of selling the domain, especially if executed correctly as it could become a real business (I'm currently researching platforms and affiliates etc)

A quick google shows a number of companies using the keyword 'bitgames' within their url, one in particular has HUGE! HUGE! HUGE! traffic and has created what appears to be a BTC Faucet style site on the .io version, ranking 44,044 Worldwide and the 140th largest site in Cuba (impressive traffic stats). I also see a number of established gaming companies using the terms too! So clearly the 'bitgames.com' is an awesome 'generic' brandable name with a great deal of potential in the right hands!

I'm almost certain that if someone acquired bitgames.com and launched a casino or bunch of crypto related games on it, that they would get their investment back from the domain purchase pretty quickly.
