$10K still far away ahead, bitcoin failed to breakout the resistance level recently, more likely the price will stay at this level $7xxx until the end of the year, 5 days left. The bitcoin market really volatile right now, the price constantly changing $100-$500 within minutes, one minute ago it was $7600 and the next minute it's $7200.
Yes, you are right. We need to break every higher price so then we can hit $10k soon, but I believe that bitcoin price can go to that price in the future. It seems we need to satisfy to see bitcoin price now at a current price, and it still waiting for a good time to increase higher. Since yesterday, the bitcoin price doesn't go to a higher price level or lower price, and I think right now, we see a sideways market, so we need to be careful because we don't know what will happen later. If you believe that the price can increase or decrease a few hours later, you need to prepare to decide on what you need to do so you don't be late to do something. Maybe we can see again $10k soon but as of now I dont see any good sign of uptrend all I can see is downtrend a possible we can touch again the $6k or $5k level before going back to $10k but because of 2020 halving people think we can back easily to $10k level.
If there is a down trend we might go even lower which is possible only if we see a huge number of coins been dumped in the market and with the halving coming up no one in the right sense will be planning to dump the coins this fast as everyone will be waiting for the market to rally so that they can profit the maximum they can and even after the halving we might not see a huge rally, it will take some time to gather the momentum and have a market push so that it can break all the resistance level. |

And I think that most likely what we are going to see is the price not moving much before and after the halving and this could be disappointing for all of those expecting big gains.
Uhhh I think you might be very wrong about that. I do expect some fireworks for next year. I have no problem with that, we all come to the forum to express our opinions and hear the opinions of other as well, I still think the halving will not bring the profits everyone is expecting, if I am wrong and it does I will be the first person to jump up and down in joy as the value of my coins goes even higher and I earn money because of it. But I still think that is not what we will see, at this point the only thing we can do is to let time pass and see how the market reacts to the halving and see who was right with his prediction. |

But if you do have good knowledge regarding to this volatility the chance of shorting the current price can be profitable. Remember the risk and assess the news that you'll be using to position your target value for entry and exit points. Just trick giving by some one because they want to get chance with much profit by giving positive price about bitcoin price will raise above $10k, they will make many people want to buy bitcoin but in other side he will sell bitcoin without raise above $10k, always have way how to manipulated bitcoin investor by giving bad and good news about bitcoin and altcoin. That will mostly do, if there's no back up information about the news it will turned out to be a good exit strategy by big bag holders. Tricking investors who are fomoing in hope that sooner the value will go up. Some action will happen but the expected target will not happen it will be short right after the buying momentum take place. |

They are free to do speculation such as what Bloomberg did, I'd say it will happening soon but don't know how and when is gonna happen. Actually, look at coinmarketcap right now, we are getting green sign in 24h which is really good as the holidays session is coming up so expect to see huge price progress on that date.

This prediction makes sense actually! It is normal for Bitcoin to hit 10K USD and it can happen even in the first month of 2020! Yesterday Mike Novogratz said that Bitcoin price will hit 12K USD, anyone can relate it perfectly! But someone said today Bitcoin price will hit 100K USD within this year, such a ridiculous prediction is that! Though before the 10K zone, we may see another dump in Bitcoin price!

It's not far from the understanding of the market. It's easy to achieve 10,000 instead of dreaming of another 20,000 or more. May this speculation not be an optimistic one, but we're about to learn that if we speculate too much, it won't help, but it never happens. I expect some 16k$ price action before the halving with a significant drop down before it. Let's wait and see I suppose. Many people predict a pump months before the halving but are they right? So far this prediction by Bloomberg is not fulfilling and there are no sins of a big pump. The 9k Level is a strong resistance even if we were to hit it now we'd probably get rejected once again. I guess there's no catalyst that would make ups move forward like that positive news from China months ago. |

As I have said before in this thread I am worried that bitcoin may not even touch 10k at the halving and that could create a situation in which investors get desperate and sell their coins making the price of bitcoin to go down and not up, however as crazy as those that predict bitcoin may reach 100k during this year sound we cannot completely discard the possibility. When bitcoin was worth 1k at the beginning of 2017 there were a few predicting a price for bitcoin of 15k or 25k and no one believed them and they were a lot closer than my prediction back in those days, what I am saying is that as unlikely as that may sound you must also have that option in mind and think about what you will do in that case. |
