Let me get it right;

The market stop favoring you and you called an attorney because of that? Whoa!

The market stop favoring you, you suddenly feel that is manipulated? No doubt, the market can be or is manipulated but it does not have to be about only YOU.

And what do you mean by this "EVER SINCE THEN though, it seems like THE ENTIRE internet is trying to FAKE their way into doing what I did."?
For goodness, people are becoming more aware of Bitcoin and earning from it, you can't be the only one catching out everytime.

I can understand the frustration, but this market is brutal and can bankrupt people if they take on too much risk. If you buy Bitcoin, no matter how much you like the idea behind it, you have to accept its speculative nature too.

People often think that they can handle the wild price movements, but that only until the market turns against them. Many people tend to call manipulation because they don't have a clue about how a market like Bitcoin works.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

i think op buy and sell bitcoin at the wrong time. so the op always experiences a big loss. therefore most of the holders of bitcoin always suggest doing research before entering into investing to learn the history and movements of coin prices. if we do the right research then we can avoid losses. and reporting bitcoin to government legal institutions I thought was pointless since the beginning of bitcoin was decentralized and anonymous. who are you going to sue?

Many people have made mistake with buying bitcoin on wrong time, almost people lost their investing money with bitcoin when 2017 buy bitcoin with higher price and keep holding although bitcoin have drop, maybe when bitcoin back down have to sell and cut lost is good chance to recovery our assets to get back profit by re investing again, if keep holding make us most lost assets in bitcoin investing.

I'm about to go to bed so I can't look at responses right away but dealing with this has caused my family to become separated, my hair to fall out and has caused me and I'm sure other traders enormous amounts of stress dealing with someone or something treating bitcoin like it's a game of attention.

I thought I'd share my story and my experience of what I've had to go through dealing with bitcoin since 2013.

I bought bitcoin at near 1000 dollars or something around 2013 and then went to college and it crashed to 300 dollars (wow totally normal for the old market).

I then sold my bitcoin and didn't get any profit and then it proceeded to constantly go up after that.  I moved on like a man though because I realized I had things to learn.  Later on though I got back into it early in 2017 nearly full time.  I began to -try- to learn how to deal with the market instead of acting like it was mortal kombat.  Treating the market like a game to fight people is literally a felony if the market isn't working and everyone knows it's wrong to go a certain direction.

Ever since the spike in 2017 to $20,000 things got out of hand though.  Since July 2017 (and I've contacted the SEC,CTFC, and attorneys over this) bitcoin has been getting pushed forcefully to go higher than it needs to faster than it needs to when the market isn't there.

The problem lies in that people don't believe that there is actually a person/trader/ or exchange that was actually capable of doing something like this for this long since it costs millions of dollars per day.
The market got different in 2017 after it got to 3000 and ever since then felonies have been committed nearly every single day to try and force the price upwards whether or not the market is ready.  Now we/I/you and the community are seeing the aftermath of the psychopath who thinks it's their job to "punish" people for selling bitcoin and it hasn't stopped since then.

I made over 10,000 dollars doing it right when everyone was ok with the natural market when it went up AND down (without getting harassed) but now it just doesn't work.  This isn't bragging, this is just a fact.  I learned how to do it right and I did well.  (yeah I sold bitcoin sometimes instead of buying it)

EVER SINCE THEN though, it seems like THE ENTIRE internet is trying to FAKE their way into doing what I did.
This has really gotten out of hand and I expect people to do something about this.  I shouldn't have to be calling attorneys at my age (but I am).
Bad moment to remember where you bought many bitcoin when price still down with season 2013 and keep selling before bitcoin have raise higher price on 2017, I think many people can't believe with bitcoin become higher price, when bitcoin still down and not popular many people do not trust with bitcoin will have higher price later and keep selling after get profit with bitcoin and altcoin.

Mistakes occur because they are not based on deeper research and knowledge about bitcoin, especially bitcoin which is very volatile, where prices can change significantly over time and that must be watched out for.
many people make the mistake of buying bitcoin or other cryptocurrency that hopes to increase when they buy and eventually decrease dramatically and eventually sell in losses due to panic, but all that will be their lesson, and when the decline occurs they will hold it back or move on to the long term and some sell it when there is a slight increase and all learn because of their previous mistakes and not give up.

you either haven't been around in 2013 and lying about it, or you are delusional in comparing the situation of the two cycles together!
most of what you said about 2017 were actually true about 2013 which you say otherwise!!! in other words in 2013 there was basically one exchange controlling the entire market called Mt Gox since it had all the volume. so apart from the natural adoption, they manipulated the market a lot because they were controlling it and there wasn't any other exchange that had any volume above 1% of what they had!
in 2017 we had a dozen exchanges each barely having a total of 3 to 5 percentage of the total volume. nobody can control the market with that kind of volume compared to 2013.

not to mention that even though you claim you have been around in 2013  you still seem to not know how the roller coaster of bitcoin works and expect just because you bought at the peek (probably $19k) and only saw the drop, the drop is the only thing that should happen from now on and never go back above that price anymore Smiley

Lemme help you with rephrasing your title... "My Story: Why I failed with Bitcoin (and keep failing to this day)"  Smiley

The fact that you can't even rant properly just shows how bad you are with things in life... Get help before its too late...
Yes, people does the mistake and ends with loss. Now when you ask with the responsible person most of the time we get to know it is the mistake of bitcoin. If there is nothing to pin point the volatility of bitcoin will be mentioned as the cause. People need to change, as most of the people find it very new they just fall for without proper analysis about thr market.
Mistakes are part of trading process, there are no perfecr trader in the market where he/she has 100% winning rate. But we can avoid mistakes if we have proper plan and proper analysis. The analysis that we should have is technical analysis which is important because it can help us to make better decisions.

When you have a business then you have to get ready for both profit and loss, it's a natural system for every investment and trading system, so don't be upset like this, Everywhere, Ups and Downs you have to face, today price is low but who knows price could get a good pace in the coming days? if you don't lose anything in life then you don't get the real test of your life ever, So it's all the learning for your life, Good days come after the bad days, especially when you say about the blockchain system, then it might be a difficult platform for staying without frustration, so lets see what will happen in the coming days.

You do not need to go into an investment for just 1 currency.
Diversify your portfolio because right now it isn't as easy as it was back in early days.

There are alot of people that understand how trading works on crypto area and will make everything possible to fight in not losing their investments.
Based on that there is surely much more inflation fluctuation now than ever.

Also you shouldn't just stay on investment trading area, you could go for instance to gambling area and still win no matter what the price would be.

Nothing to see here

Of course, it is already part of our journey since we started learning. Mistakes is always there, and it is our  job to correct and learn from our own mistakes and to become a fine man that will do our best of the best after those mistake.
Technical analysis is really important but everyone is not gifted with that, most of them having a hard time to analyze the situation and make more mistakes before they accomplish it.

If we keep on believing that greater market profits will come from research alone, then we could expect losses to still come with us in the market. Sometimes, following your intuition do actually works, if you feel the market is getting worse and worse at the present condition, you can decide right away, because for me, if you are to do a bit of research, time passes and you might lose more investment. So, with this, a complete acceptance of risk in the market is one of the key for our investment to success.

I think OP is having a breakdown right now because of what happen to his investment. Don't worry OP almost everyone around here experience the same as you while there are who is more unfortunate than you. Don't just give up because you've lost a lot in the past. Learn to correct your mistake by doing another right thing. This is how the market work and you should have known it already.
It's obvious he doesn't know what he entered. I di experience this but did not rant coz I know what the market is, what to do and what to expect least. How could you label bitcoin as a failure when it is just starting yet? Blockchain technology is getting adopted by various big companires and as you compare for the price of bitcoin than it was already measure how long did it go. What has failed is the OP, he failed for expecting too much. OP should what the risk is, hence, it's worth taking the risk as long as you've learn from it.
Indeed, OP chooses to take risk to earn profit and it doesn't turn out great like he/she expected. I can't see any reason why he have to blame bitcoin for his/her stupid actions and decisions. What can we expect? we can't assure ourselves that there will be no conflict when it comes to our investment. It usually happens and we just need to accept that there will always be some downfall but we should not let it ruin our goals because there are rooms for improvements. Let's just use our past experiences as guide to make wiser decisions and actions in the future so we will not feel remorse regarding bitcoin failing to do what we want because it depends on how we we make our choices. We should never feel hopeless because bitcoin is still capable on giving us opportunities.
I guess someone is thinking that if they invest into bitcoin they will take more profit as they want. Little did they know that it is a gamble to take some profit from someone and that's how trading works. Someone must have not taking their research seriously i guess. It wouldn't turn out to be this way only if they do know what are the circumstances of the market.

I bought bitcoin at near 1000 dollars or something around 2013 and then went to college and it crashed to 300 dollars (wow totally normal for the old market).

It didn't crash to 300. It touched 380 on some exchanges but the price recovered instantly and BTC was trading for 600-800 for months.
What did you do? You sold in panic.  Sad Good job, that was what smart people do! They wait when's at the peak of the bull market (1k) and then don't sell when it falls to 800 or 600 like it did on December 6,7,8 and such. Smart people wait for months until finally in April it hits 350 USD, the lowest price in 5 months and then they sell.

This first sentence already shows how smart you are and what this whole rant is going to be about.

And then you're going to say that we are vulgar and the community is treating you bad.

I don't know why at @op is so pissed at this present market status, if you had been in this space for long like you claim you have then you should know by now that it  is not something new, if you think you know who is/are behind it and want to make a case with them, then go for it, no need to be wasting your time here arguing with forum members, just go sue whomever you think are behind it and get it over with.
I think you have a personal anger over btc which you need to address.

A coin that started its journey from almost zero USD (in 2018) to 19000 USD (in Dec 2017) and now standing at 7500 USD is failed thing? I cant digest this criticism. If you have anything logical please come up with that rather then giving such a sweeping statement.
Tell me one market apart from crypto, which near take dip and always go in up word direction?

A coin that started its journey from almost zero USD (in 2018) to 19000 USD (in Dec 2017) and now standing at 7500 USD is failed thing? I cant digest this criticism. If you have anything logical please come up with that rather then giving such a sweeping statement.
Tell me one market apart from crypto, which near take dip and always go in up word direction?

It's not failed in terms of price.  If you understand what I'm saying.  Every comment like that is really ignorant.  It has failed in the fact that now to this day it has turned into a tool to harass people who can't even really help it go up.  It's abusive and wrong.

Doesn't matter if you convince "fred" from virginia to drop 20 dollars on bitcoin.  It's not going to save the market and it needs to stop being this way or it will continue to be a failure of an investment.

If this continues, you and other trolls will continue to harass the general public as if there was some information that you were not aware of but in fact you are not acknowledging the harassment.  Your ignorance (no offense) is part of the problem.

On a side note.  I'm going to have to inform everyone.  Whoever replied to me on the first page with vulgar harassment and negativity acting like I was butthurt or just don't know anything is getting reported to the admins.  You people really need to reconsider how you treat people on the internet.  I'm not putting up with this.

We would still think you're a fruit regardless of whois son you are... no one cares what daddy did!

There you go speaking for the entire community.  I have now reported every user on the front page of this post for not taking this seriously and instead taking this as an opportunity to slander my opinion and experience.

Yes you're right it doesn't matter what daddy did but his son has almost as much experience as daddy.

Even if I was his son you don't need to be acting like that.  Especially when you speak as is "we" is a collective group that I'm "not allowed" to be apart of judging from your diction.

Admins aren't going to save you from the community.

It's pretty straightforward in here. You express opinions and you get all kinds of answers. Some people will like what you're saying others will not. Asking admins to help you because they called you inexperienced or emotional won't make it all go away!

How are you going to survive in the real world? Are you going to call the police every time somebody calls you out?
