2020 Bull Run Speculation. Which Coins Will Go Through The Roof?

As long as the dev team of the coin you are holding is still alive and still coding, there is still hope for your altcoin bags. Frankly, back in the 2015 bear market, I was sure that some coins I dumped back then wouldn't exist any more, but today most of them are higher by a minimum of 60% in today's bear market.

However if the dev team has quit and the community doesn't have a leadership and coders, it is a dead coin.

I guess this is the problem with many of the altcoin bags I am holding. I am never worried about the established ones,,, Monero, Litecoin even Ethereum. Their developers are active and the coin will always be improving and price will get there one day when usage and recognition increases. But even with "big" alts like Tron you wonder if the developers are too busy chasing useless partnerships instead of actually building good tech!

I think Tron dev itself or maybe other project will have a lot of teams. Who know behind their project a lot of people work for their tech and what they show is one  of kind how they develop their project to show at least they always in progress. Anyway, maybe bull or bear market, big coins will have big possibilities to survived because they will still have demands as long there are no problem with their chain i think.

I'm giving very high chances to Ethereum and Binance Coin:

Ethereum: Ethereum will be profitable in 2020 because of its upgrade to Ethereum 2.0. It's note sure if the devs can really achieve it because it's a very complicated process and it won't be ready in early 2020 like many people predict or wish. But when it's ready finally, Ethereum transactions will be very cheap and be open for large adoption for every usecase related to blockchains.

Binance Coin: Binance Coin is already very profitable and will continue to be exchange number one. During the next bullrun, Binance will stay exchange number one and play an important part in Bitcoin ecosystem. Many people will use Binance, because Binance has best conditions of all exchanges.

Add Pundix, HOT, and DENT, these are coins with high volume but currently trading on a very cheap price.
These projects might have issue that's why the price dropped significantly but it depends on us based on our research on how to interpret it and see its future.

the future of PundiX and Dent is still very bright, FUD spread rapidly making NPXS and Dent experience a drastic decline,
I myself don't believe it, NPXS coins have decreased ROI by almost 85%

Ltc is a good coin, although it was with dark web I am looking forward for its good future as well. Dark web users is free to use this currency, I just hope it demand will increase soon in liue with it's price. Along with ltc, bnb has the highest potential in my opinion.

I'm sure I'm not the only one anticipating a huge run early next year, leading up to the BTC halving event, but speculating on the events is typically where the most money is made.
I'm sure GREED will play a major part of the next run, as if BTC catches a new ATH, it's gonna be all over the media again, which will make people even MORE convinced that crypto is here to stay. 

So, back in 2017 we saw an insane demand for crypto, which made it close to impossible to even signup to the biggest exchanges, and KYC took forever, since approval is manually done.

We've got decentralized exchanges today, so I'm sitting here speculating that a ton of people is gonna use them for quick access to crypto trading, not even needing to do KYC.

Which projects do you believe will succeed, and why? There are tons of projects, and ideally I would love to get a share of the DEX trading fee's as I see huge value in passive income, which could replace my current job (If the market blows up as much as I hope it will, haha).

I've discovered Blocknet, which frankly seems massively undervalued considering they solve the Oracle problem, as well as have their own DEX. It's a low cap project though, meaning it's a higher risk project than Komodo, which is a good project as well. Been accumulating both, but looking for more options, since I want to diverisify into as much DEX projects as possible, while still holding a few BTC if my plan doesn't stick 

Looked into Waves, Bisq, Binance, and a few others, but was disappointed once I found out they aren't as decentralized as they claim to be, though I believe BNB is a good choice as well despite that.

You had the most strong bonds of crypto in your lists mate, let me share my own pick on one of those selected coins. I would rather focus with ETH and BTC for this moment, while the market hasn't recover from recent bearish influence. I prefer picking these coins due to their sustainable behavior.

Seems like you missed LTC and BCH,which also still having potential for the next cycle of bullish trend so prices of these coins also will go to moon.Keep accumulating as much as you can.

Both coins are a great choice including the OPs pick but the question is what coin that could actually go through the top? While everyone is expecting a bull run, does bull run would really happen in 2020? We still got a lot of questions hanging because we aren't certain when would the bull market going to happen. Those picked coins if there's no bull run they will all bleed just the same as bitcoin.

Mostly people in the darkweb is using bitcoin or monero. I rarely heard litecoin used on the darknet as it's less anonymous compared with bitcoin or monero. this time we are talking about the potential on the healthy market and there is no correlation to talk about the dark net. BNB is over valued consider from its usefulness. i think with alibaba partnership and credits will be the next one.

Don't really see much of a user case on LTC, besides being the "little brother" to BTC. It might be a good play, but it really didn't surprise me to see it fall, even after it's block halving.

As OP mentioned, I really believe Blocknet will be a major player in the future. No middleman when trading is very appealing, and protects you from all these scammy exchanges, getting hacked left and right.

I don't think everything will moon as hard as back in 2017, only projects with actual working products or services will rise, but they will rise way more than we saw back then. Decentralized trading solutions seems to be the next big thing these days, so I'm definitely betting a large portion of my money on Blocknet, and their oracle solution, Xrouter.

Actually only projects with existing and still surviving developers will rise (there are working products now that is 95% down so it doesn't really matter). A coin project without a leader or coder is considered dead, someone needs to step up to revive these coins.

when the bull run there is a lot of altcoin that grows with a pretty good movement, but I think people will be smarter in the next bullrun because in 2017 the hype on the new altcoin is pretty much and I think in the coming year it will be better for bull run

I would say none, at least none unless BTC also does. Currency bitcoin seems very bearish and it'd be almost impossible for any cryptocurrency to break above a bearish sentiment over bitcoin, especially provided that crypto market movements are so highly correlated.

I think that a lot of altcoins will follow the trend if Bitcoin enters into a full on bull market again. But I expect a lot of the money in alts to be drawned away to Bitcoin as we enter the price discovery mode. Those are going to be some exciting times haha

Of course, most of these altcoins are following the trend of Bitcoin so it is expected already that they going to follow if Bitcoin goes bullish. Just don't forget to choose the worthy coins for your investments and choose the top 10 to 20 coins in marketcap.

Yes indeed there are no hopes that any altcoin will perform well and have pump until bitcoin's value increases and we have witnessed a lengthy bearish season and not sure when it will end. Most of us are suggesting this bearish market to end post bitcoin halving and we cannot predict much until halving and it's outcome.

Ethereum wil do well, no question about that. I hold a good amount of ETH as well (50+), but I believe you can do way better in terms of ROI, if you look into the sub $10 mio. projects out there.
Blocknet, as mentioned by the OP, sure is a good pick, I hold some on my own, and believe it will do extremely well during the next bull run. Their DEX speaks for itself, and while the majority of people disregards DEX's because: "Muh.. No liquidity ... Muh... No users", well... Guess what happens when millions of people flows into cryptocurrencies again? Guess how many of these people who wants to deal with KYC and all the restrictions it involves to use a centralized exchange?

DEX's will work just as well as CEX's, but the thing is, they need more time for development.. We're getting there, no way around it.
