wait, i think you mean - Page 1-9 Whitepaper of TokenPay is plagiarized by savetoken.us? that section of wp is usually copied from one project to another. but savetoken has legal advisor so i think they can rectify it fast. should not be copied word for word and changing only the name of the project.

Hi, this is Rockie1234/Partha M, the co-founder of SaveToken. I have written all of the whitepaper except for the legal terms which have been highlighted here.
Upon consultation with members of the SaveToken team, as well as legal advisors, the legal disclaimer we have used on our whitepaper is perfectly acceptable and legal. However, we are not allowed for legal reasons to remove or even edit that section.
I hope this note can avoid future confusion and misunderstandings with regard to the disclaimer section of our whitepaper.

However, we are glad that the opportunity to solve and clarify any inconveniences and misunderstandings about our whitepaper was given to us by the bitcointalk community.

UPDATE: We have spoken to multiple lawyers and they have all approved the legal disclaimer, meaning tvplus006's claims are simply incorrect.

Since you are a member of the SaveToken team and believe that plagiarism is acceptable to you, I am forced to leave you a negative tag. I consider it illegal that you just copied 9 pages of someone else's document, only changing the name of the project there.

There is no creativity for SaveToken copying is strictly prohibited let alone used in your project and published to everyone.
The OP must arrange for themselves how the purpose of the future is not copying it is not your right, I am sure you are not experience in the project that you are thinking about.

Would like to clarify a few things. tvplus006 is referring only to the legal disclaimer part of our whitepaper, our content and ideas are all completely from scratch.

We were given advice that our legal disclaimer would be perfectly acceptable, based mainly on similar/the same use of legal disclaimers by other projects such as TenX as shown in the first few pages of their whitepaper here (https://downloads.ctfassets.net/xecblntwky6m/5sWzq3FOoMiWuiQ0i8gKCG/84d359acabe7bb1ef3d1c1252c82828a/tenx_whitepaper_final.pdf). As can be seen, they have employed an almost identical format.


I would greatly appreciate a response from him on this thread, since an attempt to contact him privately has been met with no response.

We would like to reinforce that we are open to any suggestions that could help improve the project.

All that I wanted to say about your project, I have already said here and here. You wrote that you have a legal advisor in your team. It is his direct duty to advise you on legal matters. And it is the duty of legal advisor to prohibit the publication of plagiarism in your Whitepaper.

I had a long chat with Rockie1234 AKA Partha M. I had tried to run a survey for them & I never thought the project can be a scam one neither they can plagiarize anything. He used to ask my feedback on the project itself, I tried to assist them as always. But he never asked me anything about that, neither I did run any plagiarism checker when I had a look on their project. Anyway, I guess the project isn't a scam one (my thoughts after having a lot of chat with Rockie).
If anyone thinks I'm vouching the project; not at all. It might be scam as well. For your info, I thought I would be the campaign manager for them which was almost certain until couple of days ago, Rockie pointed out that he was getting someone else as their campaign manager.
