Though you are seeing a downfall movement that doesn't mean it would literally go at 6,000 mark. Yes, it gradually approaching but I don't think it would go beyond 7,000, and majority of people here either. Besides, is there analysis there? Would you like to elaborate some? So that people here can discuss it more further. But I still believe it won't crashed at 7,000. Market would stand firm at that mark.

What movements are you talking about and why do you think they point to $6k?  I'd really love to know what the hell you're talking about here.

As I write this, bitcoin is at around $7300 and has been waffling for weeks or months--I lose track of time when bitcoin is stuck in a tight range.  Last time it was in such a range it broke out to the downside, so it's quite possible when bitcoin starts to move again it could be toward $6k.  Possible, but I'm really really hoping that doesn't happen.  We're so close to 2020 and I have all my fingers and toes crossed that it's going to be a great year for bitcoin and crypto in general.

And I doubt bitcoin's going to go that low anyway.  I don't know that for sure, of course, but it's just a feeling I have.

 Is there any particular reason or you are just making your "prediction"?

I don´t see any movement towards 6k USD again in a near future, we are in the end of the year, next years there a halving coming, we are good at news, more places accepting BTC etc
So I think it's hard to BTC fall to 6k

Opinions are always accepted here at this forum.
Just don't go too far into telling that it will be what should happen or what will happen even without technical analysis.
Bitcoin is volatile and what you say could be true.
There is just not enough proof of it.
I can tell it will go to 13k back again but you would not believe me right?

It's not that worst because I'm pretty sure it won't sink into the abyss.
We could all buy and accumulate as much as we can if the price would go south like that but there's no sign of that yet. The Bitcoin price is currently sitting in a $7k range within a week since the last time I saw it. I still don't know if 2020 will give us the $8k or lower than the $6k price range.

I ain't no dumping not buying so I'm not going to benefit in speculating where the price would be but if going to $6k is its dereliction then seemingly this is not what its suppose to be knowing that halving is very close. Looks very manipulated really. Altcoins are sent into the lowest price so far and an indication that its a good opportunity to fill stash.

I think weekly time frame shows a a current neutral very short term. however the 21 weekly EMA very time it crosses below the 10 weekly simple moving average, the market responds with a %60–%70 price decline to $4,500. plus the Fibonacci retracement level 78.6% of the 2017 bull-run lands nearly on $4,500. further, trades on the daily time frame, as long as the price remains well below $7,900 short the fakeouts. the next bearish objective for sellers is $6,900. a bearish break of this support would revive the bearish momentum. the sellers could then target the support located at $5,800.

Can you please tell what movement indicators you have in your armory that tell you that Bitcoin could hit $6000 soon? As far as I can see we are floating around $7500 pretty comfortably. There is nothing negative in the market. The charts also look pretty normal. No bearish indication anywhere. There was a chance of such thing to happen when btc trended towards 6800 last week but I think now that thing is pretty much out of the option. Everyone here would love to know your analysis that why you think that such a thing will happen.

What ever my opinions are if the market is going down you cannot do anything about it and if you are planning to invest in bitcoin then you must see that as an opportunity rather than panicking and if you are not able to trade in the short term because you are lacking the experience to do so, then always go for the long term and it is the best option for any novice in the market.

It seems reasonable to me. Bulls can't break out and the weekly/monthly downtrends remain intact. Gravity is likely to take over again within the next several days.

Then, what do you think if the price goes down, even more, deeper than $6k? Would you sell you Bitcoins or keep holding?
Any time of the day, it can be possible and I don't think that all of us here could manage to save there ass and hold back there coins. Bitcoins price trend goes on and off and seeing how often to drops is more than the time that it goes up but this never makes a change of my mind and I patiently wait until the storm stop.

It can happen, but i hope its not. Let’s give bitcoin a better year end price and hopefully it wont drop anymore. I’m looking forward for the price of bitcoin next year and I’ve done thinking for a lower price this year, we should keep moving forward and always think positive, the market will recover and hoping that the bottom has already hit.

Best way to answer this question is nobody cares what you think lol.   The dynamics of 'I reckon it wont go down' is unfortunate, the market doesnt care what any of us thinks.   It can drag us down to 6000 with our nails dragging in the ground the whole way, its maybe even more likely if we dont want it to happen as fear is a great motivator for actions.
    Thankfully Bitcoin is alot larger then any of us which is good as just an idea or rumour on this forum propagating could easily be inaccurate but effective in convincing people.   If BTC encompasses the world then we have ourselves a positive  despite BTC having its own mind and determination its probably a good thing.  Also I never buy into the whale theory of market movements, we envision whales for why a price tops or bottoms out because its human nature to see a face in everything

I'm going to pretend the charts tell me what the market thinks, mostly its just my interpretation but hopefully based on previous momentum at least.   I have to post a big chart or detail is not legible to me or others I presume.
  
   

• Its a very rough chart but 8799 on the left is the big uptrend line for this year.  We marked this off as a recent top, which is a bearish reaction imo
• We failed below 7325 which is an area to keep as a surface we remain above ideally.  This relates to ATH fib and some 2018 pivots.  Thats somewhat bearish I'd guess.
  
• We are not managing to maintain above a rough negative trend in place since July.   We have at times traded above and kept it as some support even but right now neither is true.
• Medium term moving averages are neutral to negative but the short term 8 day average is about flat, so if it can build and stay above that measure we can be more optimistic.   Without excuses otherwise I think we return to the recent low of 6500 or possibly a lower low.

I agreed with you on this the price declined sharply from $7500 and dumped and presently it has not shown any sign of bullish sentiment the Christmas festival is around the corner a lot of exchanges would witnessed huge withdrawal and exchanging of bitcoin to fiat by hodlers to buy stuffs for the celebrations I believed a similar pattern of price behavior of last year had started to unfold the price declined too and went down to $3300 before rallying up later this year.

I am not seeing any indication that BTC will go down 6k soon. If you have any evidence for your statement that proves that it will go down to 6k then provide me. Then only we can conclude why you are making a statement like that. For me, BTC is too unpredictable but you hold you it will give profit. But whenever I tried to speculate most of the time it surprised me.

yes I agree with you in my opinion bitcoin will not go down to $ 6000. I think the lowest point of Bitcoin right now is $ 7,000. currently the price of bitcoin is $ 7200. and maybe until the end of this year the price of bitcoin will range from $ 7,000 - $ 8000. but certainly no one can predict bitcoin. bitcoin could have increased or decreased in the last week of this year. hopefully in the last days of this year bitcoin has increased rather than decreased.

What's not manipulated? People don't complain if the price is manipulated to 20k, I don't see why they should complain if it's manipulated to 6k. If anything, we should be probably really grateful to have these extended sales period. I know I am. Every month we stay below good price levels is an extra month to get bargain price. And, a better chance for price to sustain at much higher levels, much longer, once that ATH gives way (and it will).
