Most likely we will see BTC at 5000$ in the next few months, Even after halving, the price of BTC may drop. I am not too optimistic about the market next year because most of the old investors have left this market, I am waiting for Bitcoin's final price increase of 10,000$  and will leave it to invest in something else

You might need to be a little optimistic about the price of bitcoin. as far as I think, I feel that this month is the worst point for bitcoin. Besides that, I also think that in 2020, people will compete to have bitcoin preparation for halving later, so the price will rise. if there is a potential for the price of bitcoin to fall to $ 5,000, this month could be the biggest possibility.

but today bitcoin was better than yesterday, bitcoin rise in 3% today. i hope it will be good for begin and not dropped to $6000 altough possible to happen reach that

It is not really easy at all to try to tell if bitcoin is going to reach that price, the bears are doing everything that they can to reduce the price of bitcoin but so far the bulls have been able to resist, but I have my doubts about how long this can last, it seems that each time the price goes down the bulls lose a little bit of strength and the bears can make the price to go a little bit lower if at some point some of those bulls give up then we could see a price below 6000.

Even though no one could really predict the prices, I'm feeling that it wouldn't go that low. As of now, Bitcoin trades right above $7100 and does not show any sign of going weak, unless another dump would happen (which is either because of a news breaking out or a whale dumping his holdings).

It already experience almost new lows on $6600 and it recovered quite instantly. We can't make good assumptions on reasons why since it's unregulated market. My only speculation is that it would continue an uptrend after this year end, that would continue until months after the halving.

Everything is possible in crypto market so i wouldn't take that $6,000 too easy because it might happen even though we see a strong movement of the market yet the unexpected will always happens the lesser we expect.

quite reasonable, meaning $ 6000 is inevitable this month, and could even be lower than described. If BTC can touch psychologically at $ 4000, then the market can be sure to at least experience a strong reversal. I also still see the effects of other factors, especially whether the US presidential election in 2020 can influence speculation for the USD, gold, and also bitcoin in a time that is close to one another.

Right now I am very cautious because the market is not really giving any clear signals about what it is about to do, it's movements are too unpredictable and if I do anything I will be just random guessing, in fact today the price seemed to be heading into a positive direction only for the bears to completely reject that movement, it seems that we are trapped in a very tight range and every time we try to get out of it the price corrects itself really quickly.

If the breakdown will become successful then it is possible to see that the price of bitcoin will become $6000. The market is still forming lower lows and highs and it is a bad sign because it is saying that the bearish market will occur for more time. I have position now in bitcoin and I will cut it if the breakdown will happen but if the price breakout then I will add my position.

Seems reasonable to expect 6000 but the bigger point would be for what duration, 5 minutes, hours, days or months.   Makes a big difference or would 6000 be the new top.    If its a low price and we know the direction after is positive then we dont mind surely, I always have to consider the question as two parts.



Lets just go on the wider picture with larger time frame, BTC often tries to shake off the weak holds who want profit not involvement.   Every market sheds its skin every now and again and in order to grow its going to gain something from losing holders not prepared to go lower.   So its fair to expect 5000 not even 6000 because we had that at 2019 year start with the long term average.   I think the 'perfect' run up to a greater price would be lose speculators in this way by submerging to some depth in the chart not just going down a bit.   Usually BTC exceeds expectations, thats my take.

It is difficult to understand but I guess you are talking about the halving of bitcoin which might make the price go high once again.
There is a possibility for it to happen but the safest way is to not expect too much.

Bitcoin is volatile. We all know that.
But the recent price fluctuation doesn't say so. $6.5k - 7.5k is where it is playing at.
So the price might not really move too much until the end of the halving.

But the recent price fluctuation doesn't say so. $6.5k - 7.5k is where it is playing at.
So the price might not really move too much until the end of the halving.

In a six month period, the trend is still going down. So it still can be true until the next halving. The price may be holding but the general consensus is to accumulate as much before the bull run kicks in. So, there might be some who will try to get the price go down to be able to buy more. I am expecting the price to go down to 6K , maybe more.

The sideway channel ist pretty strong and yet every move up or down was rejected in a very short timeframe. So guess the low volatility seems to open the possibility for a strong move in the near future (maybe beginning of 2020?).

many people say like that, the turn of the year is less than 2 days away and currently the price of bitcoin is still stable in the range of $ 7k. that means the price of bitcoin needs $ 1k to reach $ 8k, it is very unlikely that the current price of bitcoin will increase $ 1k in a short time. if this can happen maybe most people will think this is a bull.
