So, guys, I think it's a small but a win. A win of our crypto community! I hope there will be more such examples of accepting crypto in 2020. We will start with small countries and then go to global powers. What do you think?

There's the news https://bitcoinist.com/crypto-payments-now-legal-in-ukraine/
This is a very good news, more Ukrainian will know about Bitcoin and its advantages I hope there will be more countries accept cryptocurrencies in this year.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Excellent news from Ukraine's surely bitcoin could also influence a lot of countries. The cryptocurrency community is continuing to influence a lot of countries and surely going to get a lot of users from different countries in the coming years surely this means Ukraine is also going to allowed a lot of transactions in their country and surely a lot of company is going to be interested in this blockchain and cryptocurrency technology. In the coming years, these are going to increase the demand for bitcoin.

Yes this is excellent news for using crypto legally in Ukraine so their now doing well. Actually crypto already have been global but some countries accept legal and many countries not accept yet legally so i think this will be available in all countries.

That's literally some interesting news to hear that Ukraine legalized bitcoin, this news for sure will push bitcoin to be even stronger. I hope that other countries around the world will follow Ukraine and Germany. It will really help bitcoin as well as the other cryptocurrencies, because as we know most of other crypto depends on the bitcoin's movement in the market.

Good news for the adoption of bitcoin and giving some positive vibes. i really hope that any other country that surrounds ukraine will somehow follow its path and accept crypto aswell. Many adoption means more opportunity to use bitcoin for dealing with daily needs.

Accepting the use of crypto as a payment method doesnt automatically make their citizens know about bitcoin though but I know what you mean.

From time to time, more and more country is starting to accept bitcoin in their way of living, which is in fact, affecting mainly how people live and interact with one another. Cryptocurrency being legalized in Ukraine will definelty drive bitcoin adoption in such as case that if people try to find an alternative currency, they know that they have option to choose. In addition, having bitcoin in their economy will be beneficial because commerce especiall the e-commerce will definitely be easy in the long run.

yes it isnt automatic but it needs time  . people need to adjust too or to make decision if they will try this new discovered currency or not  . once these people try and like it , they will recomend it to thier fellow members  and that is the start of btc domination   . i didnt know that crypto was illegal on ukraine before  but good to know that they are now accepted crypto again   .  this is the step for other's to follow   . soon to be

I doubt that introduction of regulation like this is necessarily a win.

The cost of such regulation comes at the expense of futile restrictions that discourage adoption in the most grassroot sense. It is also quite unreasonable to say that it's "legalized", when previously the use of crypto or holding crypto was never explicitly outlawed by legislation in the first place.

It's non-news, really. Fundamentally, this changes just about nothing around the cryptospace.

Ukraine to Block Crypto Wallets for Illicit Funds, Finance Minister Says

They are going to ask crypto exchanges and banks to do KYC of people who do operations with crypto past certain limit - around $1,200, and they will have to report "suspicious" transactions and regulators might order to freeze assets on those online accounts. They also talk how they will be using chain analysis to do their verifications.

Also, there's another interesting line that wasn't in the article - the minister said that they don't see crypto being used by corrupt officials, so it should be legalized in long term to boost economy.

I wonder if crypto holders will pay a crypto tax in case of legalization?

What do you mean by "crypto tax"? People are already supposed to pay a tax on their profits from trading, but since this potential crypto legalization is still miles away - there's no proposed law or even just a plan, no one knows how would the taxes look in case the legalization will happen.

Legalization of crypto? I do not think that in such a difficult period Ukraine will be able to find the opportunities to carry out such a global innovation. This is a very difficult process, but if this happens, Ukraine will join Germany and be free for legal crypto using

One of the first who saw the attractiveness of the Ukrainian market was the Binance exchange, which opened its office and account in the Ukrainian Bank IBOX BANK on January 16, 2020. This may indicate that Binance is going to pay taxes from operations with cryptocurrencies.

Hmm, I have not heard about this. In general, I see how Binance is serious about a partnership with institutions of the CIS countries. This is curious, apparently CZ wants to be the first in these regions

In addition, Binance added the Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) to its cryptocurrency platform. However, this did not happen now, but in November of last year. Opening a Bank account is the next stage in the development of the Binance exchange in Ukraine.

Boom, nice timing! Just a few hours ago, $UAH deposit and withdrawals are enabled on @binance. Buy/Sell of crypto using $UAH will be enabled tomorrow.

Its great news for the whole crypto world and the lovers of crypto. If it will legalized in ukraine it will be symbol for another countries who are in doubt to legalize the crypto or not.For me allowing crypto to be legal is good for economy and the people who are jobless can earn good income from the crypto platform.Governments of underdeveloped countries must seriously think about the legality of crytpo to stable the economy of the country.
Look ahead which one another country in Europe will legal using bitcoin as payment transaction, Ukraine become example for other country how brave with legal using bitcoin as payment currency with many benefit get it, but at the future when bitcoin keep go ahead with higher price country have legal using bitcoin as payment transaction will got it.

Many countries have a corrupt government that lives and rules centralized. I do not think that such countries will pay attention to the example of Ukraine if the legalization of crypto succeeds. They don't care because they will never accept a decentralization and its tools
Some of these governments deal with cryptocurrencies to transfer large amounts of money without too much noise and attention for them. Although of course there are quite comic cases, such as a Chinese official who holder 13.5 (!!!) tons / 476198.5 oz of gold.

The country of Ukraine have good taste about opportunity because they become legal crypto to their country or they adoption happen now. I really hope that someday the most of the country or every country have mass adoption of crypto just like uaing in different ways like using in payment in differenr store.

That's what I want to see in the state out there before Ukraine, Russia and China had already to legalize the crypto currency.  and they are not even half-hearted.  to accept as basic needs so that it's easy to do though.  in some countries have not legalized the crypto currency I really hope that other countries will contribute to the growth of the crypto currency for the whole world.

at least this news becomes positive news that can stimulate other countries to follow the steps of Ukraine. bitcoiners will feel benefited because they can buy goods in many places with the ease of payment using crypto, if mass adoption does occur, I think this will accelerate crypto growth

This is undoubtedly good news. But it’s worth going deeper into the process where this or that amount of money will go. The main thing is the spread of the use of cryptocurrency and official recognition. Then a huge mass of new users will join the crypto community.
