I think, to this day there are thousands of news about resistance to Bitcoin, but it has no impact on Bitcoin.  believe me, Bitcoin runs independently so anyone and anything cannot eliminate it, news like that will only affect its price

I don't understand why anyone would try to stop bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, perhaps they fear the future.
Some countries have tried to stop bitcoin, but again nothing. This is probably because they understand that there is nothing wrong with bitcoin, only good.
No one will ever stop bitcoin.

^ Probably because they found out that it might compete into the global economy and also when it comes financial banking system. This is very relevant, in fact, bitcoin has no threat to the government but only the government thinking this into Bitcoin. They will realize soon how useful this bitcoin into in society and probably those countries hated Bitcoin will adapt to it. Nevertheless, there's nothing to worry about this, bitcoin will remain bitcoin and nothing will change. Don't lose hope and keep holding your crypto assets.

what else is to destroy in bitcoin they have already tried it all before and yet it lives. the regulations are already up regulating ICOs, exchanges and so on. but i can only see digital fiat currencies to be taken care of by anti bitcoin Brett Sherman.

government certainly hates currencies they don't control and bitcoin is just one. they can pass bills but it won't really help them stop BTC at some point. they have been doing this for a long time from spreading information like google quantum computing like the 51 attack is possible with it.

Why do they want to compete with Bitcoin? It's not necessary. I think they should take advantage of Blockchain and Bitcoin. They can integrate into the economy with a new regulation. In addition, there will be no solution in demanding taxes. Because people stay at Bitcoin and don't go for paper money.

The fight against Bitcoin already started a long time ago when it was introduced to the world.
The only difference now is that there are more people who support it and more people who are against it since it is now very popular.
And since Bitcoin started and live up till now it just shows us that we are always ready and BTC would always survive the fight.

I couldn't really believe even if this will be supported by facts, because for me, what makes bitcoin strong enough and can withstand the pressure of the government and other factors is because of the people still believing on it. Me, you, and everyone here in the cryptocurrency community is who makes bitcoin the best crypto, and I do think it could also be possible that bitcoin would fall, if we, who trusted it the most will focus on other investment platform and will leave bitcoin behind.

I want to protect  blockchain system from fake news , wrong information and attacks.
But I don't have that technical ability.I thought of what I could do.
So blockchain data is only the truth.
I decided to develop a tool that everyone could easily monitor.

There is no fight. Bitcoin doesn't need to fight since it doesn't even take place, to begin with. Bitcoin is separate from government. There is no way to control it and this there is no fight to be had. There is no stopping bitcoin and all this was thought about when Satoshi created bitcoin. Keeping it out of the hands of central power was the way it was meant to work from the beginning.

There is just FUD and proposal of laws which will never pass. Piracy is against the law but thu cant stop nor control it. Bitcoin is 100x harder to control the piracy. If there is a fight the governments are fighting losing battles against their own people.

Recently Brett Sherman was nominated to chair of Investor Protection, Entrepreneurship and Capital Markets. He will surely have the power to influence bills that can get introduced into Congress. He has been incredibly anti-bitcoin and will surely try to pass bills that will stifle the growth of the industry. Also recently BIS head has been advocating Central Banks begin to use digital currencies for themselves. This will surely play out as a way to out-compete crypto.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-12-05/bis-wants-central-banks-at-center-of-digital-cash-revolution

Discussion: How can they community rally together for what is to come? Are we ready for when governments restrict / sanction any capital flow into exchanges? How prepared are we for these things?
There's sure going to be a solution to every problem. I don't think they will stop the use of cryptocurrency, despite a lot of them are against the use of crypto, there are still some people at the top that are in support of it and they will be strong advocates.
I am not expecting government to ban cryptocurrency, rather they will try to enforce laws on it to have complete control over it, and that's it. They will want investors and users to be paying their tax and in whatever ways they can be benefiting from it.

Our duty is to adhere to rules and regulations. It's not our duty to oppose laws. In a situation where there is continuous lapses in the part of developers,  which creates the loophole for scrutiny by government,  we cannot do anything contrary.
I feel that the main reason behind government involvement in setting standards that may restrict unregulated cash flow,  is the issue of money laundering.
What I expect the community to do is to do everything possible to kick against fraudulent activities,  and assist government to bring sanity into the use of cryptocurrency.

in my opinion there is nothing to worry about, someone always tries to stop bitcoin, even in the past several countries strictly prohibited the use of bitcoin, but in fact until now bitcoin is still going well, bitcoin is not easy to stop.

No matter how good the system or technology is there will always someone or some people who will go against it and will do everything in their power just to stop but and bitcoin is not an exemption, bitcoin has a lot of enemies, and they have been spreading all sorts of fake news and also only expose those scam going on with bitcoin instead of highlighting its benefits.
Despite everything that happen bitcoin is still here and it seems that bitcoin is standing it’s ground and becoming stronger as the days or years go by so nothing to be worried about. We just have to have faith with bitcoin.

No one will ever stop bitcoin.
Of course, you need to understand that the government today is not ready to accept bitcoin. The government can harm itself, thereby infringing on the rights of Bitcoin consumers and those who are involved in mining Bitcoin. It is necessary to ensure that both sides do not go into conflict.

there are really many people who already try to fight bitcoin and all of them failed in the end
there is really nothing wrong in bitcoin only some people are using it in the wrong way
instead of fighting bitcoin its better if they will just try to catch those people who are using bitcoin in the wrong way

Governments are going to keep their control over the people and the economy, they can't do it when bitcoin is borderless. They wold need to regulate the market and the money coming into it because the citizen has to be protected too when it comes to scam. Some government are already adopting to crypto but some are just going to keep the battle. Bitcoin is already too big to fail and I think its been ready to fight against those who stops it.

I'm not even remotely concerned about it though. Governments like china banned its use and trading exchanges yet changed heart recently. And even though bitcoin has had a bad reputation with fraud, scams and heavy dumps, i think people are slowly becoming aware of it and its transactional use and investment potential.

These people are just wasting their time trying to fight something they bearly understand what it is and its relevant importance it has.  Bitcoin has been in the financial ecosystem for ten years now and its ecosystem and market keeps growing.  Only ignorants will have problems with the existance of bitcoin....
