Of course it's flat. It has no oceans, which means no ships going over the horizon, which means no proof of roundness.

Mars is a small, close light maybe 3,000 or so miles up; it's a disc of electrical plasma.

What these guys are selling is the biggest fairy tale I've ever seen!

You should probably move this to Off-topic instead of Politics&Society.

I think it's racist to assume that [flat] Martians don't have politics or society.

^ I purposely chose a clip with a lots of refraction, to show the fluid dynamics, to show that the image is in focus.

I think it should be established how flat the flatness of the flat Martians is. My guess is it's pretty darn flat. But how would you measure flat, if you were flat and everything around you was flat? Just try to hold a ruler up, perpendicular to the flat. It won't go "up", and maybe, "up" does not even exist. Are we talking about a world in 2D? How would people there watch Avatar?

As some one with professional photography experience, including with astronomical objects, I can tell you with absolute certainty that your image is not at all in focus, and the only fluid dynamics you are seeing is the temperature differential of the atmosphere causing light to refract. You can see the same effect if you look closely about 3 inches above an open flame. This is the same physical mechanism that can cause mirages. Also, if Mars was fluid, it would all just pour over the flat edge. There is no ice wall there after all.
