It is good if it is web based, i.e. similar to blockchain.com. Otherwise, installation makes it machine dependent. Its not a BIG sum. So, high security is not a priority. Ease of use is what I am looking for. Needs to work with all kind of ERC20. Also, please let me know, How is MetaMask as an ERC20 wallet?

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I personally still use the web-based myetherwallet wallet to store some altcoins that use the ERC20 platform, and I think you also know about this, if you don't know it, it's very good for you to try, and its use is also very easy.

MEW it is. myetherwallet.com is always been reliable when it some to being a wallet. There were changes to its GUI in the past but its one of the wallet I have been using since the time when ETHER was release. I have used some like EIDOO but there are just tokens yet that you can't store there but basically with MEW you can add all the tokens manually as long as its ERC.

if it is for ease to use then a web-based wallet is recommended, you do not need to download the entire blockchain and with a few steps, you can use it. for erc20 token, I am using myetherwallet.

Myetherwallet is recommended as long as you were not going to be phished or being too careful in our account or keys. It's recommended in joining bounties. I'm still using it too but still have ledger for some holdings. It's always good to have a backup just in case especially if it's a amount we can't afford to lose.

MyCrypto desktop version is one of the most secure wallets, provided that you keep the private key secured and easy to add new ERC20 token, they are always updated, so be sure to get the latest upgrade I think they upgrade every two months so they are always bug-free.

Based in your requirement, I can give you few options, 1. MEW aka MyEtherWallet. It is completely web based wallet and you control the account seed. 2. Metamask. It's a browser extension for Chrome and Firefox. Fast and secure. These two are the most recommended wallets as per your requirement. However, I would personally suggest you to use Atomic wallet which is a desktop wallet and lightweight. Your control your money and seed keys. That's what I prefer to use! Hope this helps!

Myetherwallet can be option. I think a lot of people will give same answer too. Myetherwallet is easiest ERC20 wallet that i have ever used. Although i still use the old way (private key) to access my wallet, i keep aware of the domain before i open it. Because there are a lot of phising site that clone myetherwallet's interface.

Still, I will recommend MyEtherWallet (MEW) since they are offering the simplest platform for ERC20 wallet. I am using this wallet for how many years and nothing unusual had happened. It depends on how careful was the user. The other option will be offline wallet since you are protecting a huge amount tokens or coins.

the ease of web-based ERC20 might be very good to use, many support for altcoin types that can be accommodated and custom tokens are also easy to use in this wallet. so best for myetherwallet ERC20

I think many wallets support erc20 already but the famous one is mew. I think most users prefer this as their default wallet supporting these tokens since it can be sync on metamask and other third party app such Imtoken. Im also using trust wallet now for some tokens of erc20 and its also nice but still prefer mew as my main wallet.

This should always favor with MEW and Nano Ledger S. But as you have mentioned, you are only looking for the web based wallet. Ledger wallet has a stronger security because MEW becomes the target of phishing links and scam hackers.

The best web based that supports ERC20 tokens is no other than MyEtherWallet(MEW). Since I started joining cryptocurrency, this is the wallet I'm using. You have the private key and you can even secure it even more with the use of metamask. That way, it'll be having a second layer of security. Even if it is web based, you still have the condition to do what's best for your wallet.

Web based wallet are not safe no matter how good the service they render are, its safer to you all in one mobile wallets like trust or coinomi, many erc20 token comes installed on the wallet and you can manually add any tokens you want

myetherwallet is still the best wallet so far, and besides that I might use im token for a mobile wallet. both of them I have been using for a long time and have proven to be safe so far, and the problems that have arisen about wallet theft are mostly due to cases of private keys that are not properly stored

A lot of people recommend MEW wallets, but I find the new version of MEW difficult to use and not as secure as other wallets. I recommend Binance's Trust Wallet, a very convenient and easy to use mobile wallet,

For ERC tokens, I prefer to use Myetherwallet as you not just only have control over your private keys and the amount of gas to spend, you could also manually add any tokens to display them in wallet. Most of the web based and desktop based wallets are not as easy as accessing your wallet through myetherwallet.

Most web based wallet i know of have no private keys, you don't want to end up losing your coins, you are better off with wallets like trust, jaxx that can give user recovery option

Actually, I think MEWConnect is a good one, but it seems I still choose a wallet from a trust wallet because the usage is already used and trust wallet has other advantages, this is a Multiple Wallet so it's not only Ethereum but coins from other platforms can also.
