I see no reason why the US government would want to review it. If they wanted it in the first place, it would not have been turned down and all the lashes would not have come up. They are gave reasons why no one should take them serious. So, considering them again might send the wrong signals.

It can be reviewed as much as possible, nothing will change the fact that if Facebook wants to do this they have to bribe politicians and that is about it. Look at all the realities of american politics, there are super expensive drugs that are protected by politicians because they have been bribed, there are internet providers who throttle internet and get tax payer funding for further researches that is not used for anything of the help of tax payers because they bribe the politicians, there are literally insurance companies who fraud their customers all because they bribe the politicians.

As long as you bribe the politicians you can do whatever you want, if you don't bribe them they will hate you for not bribing, as simple as that and no review will change that.

Reviews are taking too long isn't it? May be, because the government itself are afraid of taking risk though Libra is not about what the majority think and specially the government is thinking. I hope this thing be soon be settle as early as enough because may be if this take way more too long than it already is, it would be good as a trash project.

Government won't a full decentralized coin is become mainstream because they can't control their citizen's money and maybe the people can hide their wealth and ended avoiding tax. So the government want to make their own country blockchain coin that controllable. Libra is one of the most potential cryptocurrency to become mainstream in US but it's still need much improvement

After the Chinese Government began to regulate cryptocurrency, I think the American Government does not want to be left behind on this. If Libra coin is passed by the regulator, I think this will stimulate the crypto market again and maybe it will attract new investors.

Libra is unlike any other common currency. If integrating Libra into the facebook application, it will be difficult to control the cash flow because it is a global platform. Like other payment services, Libra needs to pay taxes on transactions and it must be accepted by the US government. Facebook is based in the United States and is required to comply with US regulations.

I made a mistake a months before who stated that the increased price bitcoin from $3500 to almost $13.000 it was affected by libra coin because at that time I got information that libra coin will launched.

But I just feeling that the increased price bitcoin at that time is was nothing to do with libra coin but it is just the investor of bitcoin as a whole get interested back to invest more.

So now I won't make a mistake predictiom again (who bring a false information). I think libra is more centralized then the government and I'm sure if you are truly bitcoin user won't ever be like that.

After the finance ministers of the countries of the European Union announced that they would not allow the use of Libra on their territory, then regardless of the decision of the US regulators, you can put a cross on Zuckerberg’s coin. Not sure what significance that sign has but the US government is still nowhere close to approving a project like Libra yet as there are too many regulatory hurdles to overcome first, but if it does succeed in launching there should be some positive price movement in the lead up to its launch

I've seen crypto article sites lately releasing some statement that Libra's whitepaper were revised to fit for its approval. Its possible to be approved and if ever there will lots of pumps going to happen including BTC. This isn't going to be a good news for some of the people here in bitcointalk though.

I guess the only who will be happy are the ones who does business in facebook. I myself is doing business there and I might just one day submit documents to my facebook account to make my business legal when Libra finally be on that stage.

Could you quote the source of this post, OP? It's all in Chinese characters and I would like to read it. I don't think anything related to Libra would cause any pump to cryptos and also it is still a review since it is gonna be surely an electronic money so these things aren't avoidable. It isn't decentralized currency anyway unlike Bitcoin.

Maybe it is because they are giving the chance for the project to be launched in the market, US have free government that allows people to showcase the innovation that they've created, and for me, the reviewing of the aspects of libra coin is an initiative of the government to actually allow it to run in market soon. Meaning to say that right in a short span of time, we can see libra coin in the market not and we'll have the opportunity to use it as well despite of our negative thoughts about it.
