What is Spending-Bitcoin.com?

We are aiming to be the largest, and most up-to-date, directory of online stores accepting Bitcoin. Most of the websites we could find are either very outdated or they are missing a lot of websites, which is why we decided to build this directory. We are offering:

• Lightning Network support
• No advertisements
• No paid listings
• No referral/affiliate links
• No storage of user data
• No sign-ups required
• No shitcoins

What's in it for us?

Nothing! We've built this website out of love for Bitcoin and to help spread adoption. We have no plans to monetize our website by placing advertisements or selling user data (we're looking at you mr. Zuckerberg!). In fact, we've built a custom analytics system that allows us to track user behavior on our website without storing any of the user's data.

How can you add a website?

Anyone can submit new websites. All you need to do is enter a valid URL (no referral links!) and hit the 'submit' button. Our website automatically generates a website title, description, avatar and banner for you, making the submission process as simple as possible!



What if a website stops accepting Bitcoin or shuts down?

If you run into a website that stopped working, isn't accepting Bitcoin anymore, turns out to be a scam, or any other reason, all you need to do is hit the 'report' button. Enter the reason why you are reporting a website and hit the 'submit report button'.

Cool site, saw your thread and decided to check it out. I like how there are a lot of categories organized so I can pick and choose. Of course, the search option is also there for clear results which makes it easier for people to find what they need.  I also like how you can rate the sites continually, therefore keeping the site up to date with the real world.

Wow, great website! You're right - there is some Bitcoin stores directories, but most of them is outdated or have small number of stores listed. Well, over 1000 stores sounds great.
I think it would be good to add option to leave reviews about stores. It's not necessary should be comments, maybe stars would be enough.
And just random thought about sorting of websites. Some websites are working just locally in particular country and aren't shipping internationally. So, maybe it would be good to add option to sort stores by country. I know that it would require lot of work, so I don't expect to be added.

Bookmarked, the site is excellent and contains thousands of sites that accept Bitcoin, so it is considered a reference, but I would like to add a few points:

 - More classifications: In addition to the lightning network, I hope to be able to know whether the site accepts Bitcoin directly or through intermediaries (Bitpay,...etc.), SegWit, Date of acceptance.
 - Escrow sites and trading platforms: You did not include escrow sites such as Bitify.com, Localbitcoin,Paxful or any of the trading platforms.


You can add Smspva.com and other sites that offer paid phone numbers.

I think it would be good to add option to leave reviews about stores. It's not necessary should be comments, maybe stars would be enough.

By implementing that, you're allowing users to easily abuse those ratings.

So whatever you think is missing you can add on your own, but the owner does not seem to have been active for the past month (in forum), and he locked his thread which has attracted far more attention than this one.

I hope it's just a vacation or some private commitments, it would be a shame for one such project to fail.

The website seems pretty clean and attractive, so I think that's a plus. But I do have some concerns about the vetting process for such a large number of websites. Can each of those websites be considered legitimate? The information of where to find the websites is good in my opinion, but for safety practices, a good vetting process should be established imo.

I am sorry to see that it was removed by a moderator though. It seems like you worked really hard on the project. I hope they will keep this thread up and discuss ways that you can move forward with promoting it here if needed since it seems like a really good contribution for crypto.

Feedback is always welcome! We manually check every entry to make sure it actually supports Bitcoin payments and that there are no obvious red flags. We also randomly test the current entries on a daily basis to make sure everything stays up-to-date. We are currently working on an update to improve the UX/UI so feel free to leave more feedback.

Our goal is to keep the website as clean and reliable as possible, which is why you'll find no advertisements, referral links, paid entries etc.

What is important to emphasize is that your site has no advertising, and it is strange that someone pays something like this out of their own pocket - which means that it only works for the benefit of the crypto community.

I still support your project in my own little way, and if someone says they have nowhere to spend their BTC I am happy to refer them to your site. By the way, I like the new logo - maybe it would be a good idea to make banners as well.

We have no plans on hosting campaigns or paying people to wear avatars/signatures. As you might guess, running a similar website involves plenty of costs and we're trying to keep those as low as possible. I'll have a banner made for you and I'll post it here soon.

Well just see this site and i amazed when i opened the site.

The interface is very eye-catching, when i opened using my phone it's also mobile friendly,

There are lot of online stores there which accept bitcoin (amazed there are more than 1000 online stores), you can likely find anything you want from there since there are lot of choice (bitcoin hardware, gaming, service, and even charity),

They are also have warned you when you try to choose adult & gambling, so if you are still under age or prohibited to open those sites, better to go back,

On gambling, I've seen you still listed Luckygames.io and 1Xbit, which i suggest you to remove both sites.

You can add other trusted gambling site, as Wolf.bet, Justdice.com, and Bustadice.com because i haven't seen those sites on your site.

You can edit all the choice by using Capital word, so it will looks more professional IMO.

Overall, it's a good site and have many choice about online stores which accept bitcoin

Why do you think that? I added some pages from Europe and there were no problems, and if you look a little closer you will find pages from all over the world. You may get such a (wrong) impression because it is true that there are a lot of US based sites, but that is the reality.
