Sometime, all of it really not concerned by newbies. Although not all, but some people start to make investment because they are influenced by other. Because of that, a lot of people really trapped in ICO that not really good when the sale already end. People should really make analysis in every aspect before do something with their money.

What you say is true, we only need to watch it, how will it progress in the future? If the project is good, what works on the road map, then it is up to you whether you want to invest or not. Not only in investing or in trading, we are also doing this in real life, for example you are doing a job, you are new there and what you need to do is to learn the process as much as you can so you can get promoted so you can earn a lot, so we could also do this in trading/investing, we should work hard for us to  learn as much as possible and to earn as much as we could.

You should replace the word newbies to all or everybody, as even experts and old-timers of this forum can fall victim from these scammers, we all know these scammers are getting better now, and they can make a project looks good in paper, it's everybody's battle to fight these scammers not only for newbies but for old members as well.

I think not just the newbies but everyone needs to be very vigilant i have seen very promising and professional looking projects ending up as nothing, so even good projects can fail, i have faced many shocks and surprises in around 3 years of my crypto career so yes if you are mentally strong and can face losses (alongwith massive profit potential) then you are welcome to jump into crypto.

Crypto is for the strong, both physically and mentally because its full of bad news and good news, luck every corner as well as bad luck as well, you can't predict which project will turn out good so its better to be open to every projects you see, do not keep your eggs in one basket

Scammers will always look for opportunities to earn money in various ways. Halving might be one of them but in my opinion what needs to be watched out for is scammers that occur in new projects or ICO. Although IEO is an alternative, but if prices fall far below IEO prices, in my opinion this can be categorized as a scam

My only advice to the noobs is to remain vigilant. Too many scam projects are around, and new users should invest only in those projects which they are 100% sure about. Visiting the scam accusation forum will help, but remember that in most of the cases the projects turn out to be scams only after the ICO/IEO phase is completed. And by that time, the investors might have lost their capital to these scammers.
