Their streak is ended, it is kind of sad but I think that is fine. They can break another record as far as I know GS is holding it right now, which is in the lowest this season, hope Steph is fine though. I don't care how many records this break, as long as Giannis can prove that he can step up, I am so fine with that, and as far as I know he's looking forward to a team that I think stopped their run when he's playing with Greece.

I don't understand why all of a sudden, you guys think that Bucks will make history just because of their 18th game winning streak. Without touching it to at least 30 winnings streak, it shouldn't be a big deal.
18th win streak wasn't easy for today's league. Looking upon the bucks line up they barely even had star players. Mostly it was about the dominance of Giannis under the ring. And Khris's fine playing. Comparing it to Lakers 1971 - 1972 wherein 3's aren't a big deal and the league was all about hook shot and dunks it was quite easy for them to achieve such winning streak though, and in addition they even had star players like Jerry West and Wilt Chamberlain that are now legends. So, 18th winning streak was itself good enough, and they have prove themselves a formidable team now in the league.

Quote
Miami Heat's 27 winning streaks last 2013 with LBJ, Wade, and Bosh didn't even create rumors about the possible establishing a new record of winning streak. They are way stronger compare to the Bucks 2019.

Heat's 27 winning streaks was a big news here in my country. May be in your town wasn't, but here in my country specially in my town it was all around in news papers, magazines, news and social media.

Ahmm because they are the current strongest team in the other conference? I guess that's the reason why people tend to think that maybe (just a maybe) there's also a possibility for them to beat or at least equalize what Lakers did Grin.

Simply because they're also as solid as rock back in those days compared to Bucks which only have Giannis as their legit ace. Chill dude, don't take this too seriously Cheesy. Let others enjoy making their own predictions and telling their own insights.

The Bucks should not be hindered by just breaking their winning streak. Of course everything has to end which include their streak. I don't know if they can manage to also break the record set by the warriors of 73-9 w/l record but let's see for it's too early to decide.

After their loss against a Mavs team that didn't have their best player I doubt they could break the warriors best regular season record. With only 30 games played they already have 4 losses, there's still 50 games to be played and a lot of possibilities for other teams to pull a few upsets against them. They need another long win streak if they want to have a chance at breaking the best winning record.

sadly Bucks did not continue the streak as the Mavs stop their run to new record high ,i am very positive on this one as the team shows domination  for more than 15 streak but things don't happen always on our side so lets move on and just continue the support being a Fan(if you are one lol)

for OP @Kasabus since the streak is over, maybe it is time to Lock this thread as there is no relative conversation to come in future.

They will be facing Lakers who also have the same standing both have 24-4 records they are both the top 1 team from their respective division
It's another test for Giannis if they are still in the mission of trying to make an history while he's the franchise face of this team. While in the
Lakers side who also doing a great job the 1-2 punch of AD and LBJ are very effective, defense needs to have different strategy to make a good
stop between this two solid super star.

It's good to have a benchmark for their capability man, and it could help us analyze more often times. Bulks will be hindered when they missed out their defense over the opponents, but if they'll make it smoothly without any barriers of strong defense; of course winning chance is already granted for the team.

Bucks starting to create a long streak again, their on a 3 winning streak now, it's too early but they've been showing enough to convince people that they can easily win games even the favorites in this season to win the NBA finals, they beat the Lakers recently which we all see are still struggling now, so there is no reason for them not to beat a weaker.

I am just so confident that they'll make history this season.

The Mavs beat the bucks and that cause the bucks to stop their 18 win streak. 18 win streak is the longest win streak of their franchise history. The bucks is leading the NBA in terms of win and lose. Their standing is 27 win and only have 4 losses. I also know that they will create a history in this current season because their star player which is Giannis Antetokounmpo is in a solid state and a good health.

Ok let's look at their schedule and see what are the chances of them of creating another streak:

Quote

Philadelphia
Atlanta
Orlando
Chicago
Minnesota
San Antonio
San Antonio
Golden State
Sacramento
Portland
New York
Boston
Brooklyn
Chicago

https://www.cbssports.com/nba/teams/MIL/milwaukee-bucks/schedule/regular/

So that will be there schedule for the next month, so I would say that they have a good chance that they will rack up a good streak again, unless some bad luck struck their team, (injuries)

all that 14 teams seems to be carry by Bucks(however there are some things may occur so lets not be over confident)but if the Bucks shows same play like what they did this past 3 games/then 17 straight wins is waiting for them.

crossing fingers lol, because we know that everything may happen

Sixers will be a big test of the Bucks in the next game. I'm not saying that they're going to loss, but it's going to be interesting as Philly is in the 5th position in the East.

And then Boston few games down the ladder. And I think the rest of their schedule are pretty much a sure win, in my opinion. And as long as Giannis is healthy and the second unit contributing, chances are they're going on at least ten games here.

I believe that the Bucks and Giannis are going to have troubles when facing Boston.
Sixers play very well and it will be indeed an interesting game, however I don't think that they are going to be close to Bucks' performance. Milwaukee has a variety of players that can give scoring solutions to the team right now.

When it comes to versatility and their bench performance i do really agree with this one which they can really give out those scoring solution no matter
on who would be the opponent.About into their next games i can see that Boston and Sixers would really be the teams that wont really be an easy game for
them but as said we cant conclude though yet ball is round and anything can happen along the way.

It all be possible to carry more winning streak for the upcoming games. They are apparently driving a better play compared last year and Giannis has already got some lessons for their losses last season. It has to prove that he can make a big shoot and it is so much help to have a chance and break the record but its gonna be a tough play they should have. Only they need not get injured especially for Giannis otherwise, they ended the same last season.

I agree, them and Toronto are the two teams right now that has really improved a lot. I say Toronto because everyone thought that when Kawhi left, the team will be in disarray, But look at them right now, they are doing very good even with Leonard.

And then we have the Bucks who have gotten so much experienced last year, they fell short to the eventual champions, but they learn from their mistakes and we can see this season that they really improved with Giannis leading them. I would say that they are going to build another winning streak.

Looked how the Bucks team working on it, they are also hunger to win the finals and that is their goal right now( I believe everyone is aiming the same) but the best one will get the prize.

Toronto is having competitive players, yes it was a big loss for them when Leonard leave the team but believing that they could still win more basket as they are still capable of. But of course, they are not strong enough to reach the finals. But anyway, they succeed last year and that is already a great achievement. May they have to give space for another team to win also.

Oh well, as I have said, Sixers will be a big test for them and eventually Philly's defense put a clamp on Giannis, he just score 18 points (8-27 FG, 0-8 3PT) one of his worst performance this season.

They shut him down for good, while Joel Embiid had a monster game, scoring 31 points to go with 11 rebounds, props to him for stepping it up and playing good defense against Giannis.

Let others enjoy making their own predictions and telling their own insights.

Insights and predictions can be discussed at the first NBA thread. It's way more fit there.

Just look at some of the replies, is that even part of the speculations about the subject?

for OP @Kasabus since the streak is over, maybe it is time to Lock this thread as there is no relative conversation to come in future.
