I would at least expect a swap of coins to the new blockchain. At least this would show some sort of respect and acknowledgement for the people who have already spent a lot of their money on electricity and rentals to mine this coin.  If a new blockchain is created, it will be the same people that you want to mine it, and now they have been burnt and perhaps their trust lost.

A very usual approach to every project. After all, why are people mining a specific coin? Of course, it is only one thing, so when the time comes, they can sell what they mined once it hit in exchanges. It is not that they will collect and hold this coin for long term. Because most alts lose their value up until no more is interested in buying the coin. So the earlier you get rid of the coin, the better on your end.

to all meraki miner who has lost coins in this project
here there is a new coin who has the same code of meraki , just algo is changed to original x11 and the masternode reward is different. maybe we should mine it instead of meraki

forking a coin is easy. however there are a lot of bugs in the code. I stopped my masternodes when i read announcement and i continue to receive coins and people hasnt stopped to mine it too..
such a waste of resources. such a waste of time. such a shame restarting a coin.

I think the beginning dump is part of the natural course of a coin . this will not ruin a coin but it will be more strong. Eth has been sold at 0,1 cent at the beginning. see now. but losing coin by restarting the chain is ridicoulous

If you cared about community you would be:
1. Prepared wallet for windows, linux at least.
2. Anounced date & time of mainnet start
3. Made a how to setup node with windows and linux wallet.
4. Show all info about you project and what you are going to make in future.

after 4-5 hours from launch there are already 76 masternodes on the net. all from the same ip of the first launch.
