From the above, I'm sure the $10 k - $15,000 is a reasonable range and easy to get to by next year. It is also going to get over it , that I know but I don't know where it will hinge on afterwards.
I'm not so sure about that if there will be a $10,000 next year or at least $15,000 before the year end in 2020. Bitcoin halving will have a less effect in 2020 because most quoted speculation will happen in 2021. I think it will be a slow and steady bloody market in 2020 unless there is something that would push to rally a new price.

Transaction fees would again be the limiting factor for bitcoin price and in my opinion, $20K is the limit till which bitcoin could rise safely. Anything above that would discourage transactions as users would be paying more in fees. New technologies like Lightning network might change that in future but there's no place for them in 2020.

The harder the price goes up, the higher the potential reward is for people, and to capture that potential people are well willing to pay up for the fees. We have seen that in 2017 where people kept outbidding each other to get their transaction included in the next block, pumping the fees to $40-$50 which is quite insane. Speculation is something that shouldn't be underestimated.

New technologies like Lightning network might change that in future but there's no place for them in 2020.
Bitfinex recently started accepting Lightning deposits and withdrawals. For those who don't mind the history of the exchange, they can enjoy instant and super cheap transactions that way. Who knows what other exchanges will support Lightning deposits and withdrawals by that time. We can only grow exponentially from here in terms of adoption.

hey I won't read it, I'm very sure if you make predictions that are not much different from most people's predictions. Last year I read a lot of predictions about the price of bitcoin, and now I know that all predictions are just bullshit. to be honest i'm more interested about bitcoin price analysis next week  Roll Eyes

you chose the wrong people to listen to their opinions, many of them making crazy statements in order to gain more media momentum.
People do not want someone who gives them logical hopes but rather promises of quick riches, so you notice that most expectations are 20,000, 50,000 or even 100,000.

The market teaches us that the more optimistic the results are different from reality.

OP just wants to get some free traffic to his site, and you know that most people are only interested in big numbers. People like to live in hope, no matter how unrealistic it is, and even more, they love to see when one gathers such speculation in one place. I see OP is also adding Tim Draper on the list, but his speculation is for 2022/23, and he is one of the few whose thinking I take somewhat seriously.

Obviously, many speculators are expecting a big boom in the coming years, which makes some sense considering halving 2020. But could that be the only reason to see Bitcoin at $50k or $ 100 000k? Of course not, I believe that many of them are counting on other things, such as the first BTC ETF approved by SEC.

lets not forget that each of bitcoin's biggest price rises that happen in each cycle were preceded by price predictions that were looking "outrageous" at the time. for example if you told someone that bitcoin is going to be worth $20,000 in less than a year back in 2016 they would have called you crazy and your prediction "outrageous".

we are in the same situation right now too. when someone says price is going to be $500,000 in a year from now, it is called "outrageous" as if people haven't learned from the history no matter how many times it is repeated.
(of course we shouldn't confuse idiots making up bullshit like McAfee with actual predictions).

There is a FOMO brewing...
