Best bet always is to incrementally buy.  Trying to time the market is so hard and if your sights see a higher price in the future why fickle over a coue of percentage points right?  Too many people get burned while trying to time the market

if you are so sure where the market will go i would be the first to dump. but the market today is really not that predictable. the weekly charts are telling the opposite when it comes to daily chart or so. but this information only matter to long term trader what about those in the day traders who constantly trade every 15 -30 minutes of the day.
your next move would depend to how you see the market. but its best to dump for usdt when unsure.

The post halving pump will be to hit the previous ATH but normal pump should start towards the halving, It should be around $14K by May, 2020. I expect some good responses by January end to start of February. Cant say anything about ATM about altcoin even after halving, maybe after bitcoin's $20k

i'm still waiting a bit longer before putting my USD back into the market. mid-$5000s or $6k still seem likely enough to justify staying on the sidelines. (most of my capital is already in BTC anyway)

but i do believe that time is running out for this downtrend. by january, we'll be in a new tax year and only 4 months away from the next halving. and we'll be coming off a long term correction in oversold territory. that's a dangerous time to be bearish on bitcoin!

Invest while the prices are still low.Dont end up on regretting when you do already saw the price is clinging up already.
We can presume and try to connect the past but doesnt guarantee that it will happen on next year halving.It might either
rise nor dump but to expect there would always be fluctuations.Im not already aiming for long term swings but rather

I've been gradually re-accumulating my spot BTC position since early October. I've still got some fiat/stablecoins sitting on exchanges. I'm waiting for either confirmation of a new uptrend (for example, a clear break above the $7,800 area) or a dip to the $6K area before putting more capital into the market.

sometimes people get confused to determine the right time, but when bitcoin goes up they panic and finally fomo. whereas when prices fall they also sometimes panic or be afraid to buy. every fall should be a good time to buy. but its true dont forget to incrementally buy because we don't know how deep the decline will occur.

I will see how the market is going on and buy in stages if the market is bearish. Me myself always devide my money for invest long term investment and short term/trading. I choose bitcoin for long term investment although I decide to sell them when the market was going good and its price was increasing a lot and I buy it when the lower price has comes. This strategy is really work for me, morever when I face this situation. At least, I have no worries to thinking should I sell and should I buy just save it in my wallet. Because in other hand I have another asset to trade so I just focus on it.

The current bitcoin price $7184 is a cheaper price than it should be, the plan is simple; just buying bitcoin to accumulate more into my wallet, before it rise up more than $8K to $9K sooner or later, considering what will happen in the next year, bitcoin surely will spike up beyond $15K. Meanwhile, take a look into information in the market, if there is something that may affect bitcoin price positively or negatively, something that may change the plan to hold or to sell.
