What is the official board rules about repeatedly reposting your deleted posts from self moderated threads where the thread started is deleting them.

How many times do you have to permit this ? I have people doing this 15 + to  my self moderated threads? and guess what they are DT members.

Can we all start doing this to other peoples self moderated threads or not?

I though you must NOT repost your posts after the self moderator deletes them??

YES OR NO?

If not that is open season for us all. DT members do not get special rules in all things do they??
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

That's not the case at all as far as I know.  I don't even think it's against the rules to repost something that a moderator deleted, but I have to confess that I haven't read the forum rules in quite a while.

When members get their posts deleted in a self-moderated thread and repost it in their own thread or another one, it's probably because it was one that the member thought was important.  I don't know, but I don't see any problem with it since we're not talking about post that necessarily broke forum rules.  They got deleted by a member who isn't staff, so what's the problem?

So you are claiming with your vast and reliable knowledge of the forum that you can repost the post as many times as you like and nothing will be done FOR ALL MEMBERS RIGHT?

So you can just keep copy and pasting them there as many times as they are deleted.

Ok so we heard from HugeBlackWoman.

So that is probably incorrect.

Then again if what you say is true then that is fine with us. However it must be the same for all members.

As far as I'm aware, there is no forum rule that states you cannot repost the same post once it is deleted by the thread starter. However, I would personally consider it bad etiquette to do so.

Have you tried reasoning with these DT members? If they're simply trying to inform the community about something, and your thread is the best outlet to do so, it might be understandable why they're posting.

I believe we need some examples of the type of comments that are being deleted and reposted. I have a hard time believing a DT member is posting ungrounded/slanderous remarks for no good reason.

We won't get into the specifics for now but NO they are posting off topic irrelevant information which they can speculate on on their own threads to FAR greater effect. They are trying to derail my thread from sticking to the central points being debated in the initial posted.

You sound like someone that has not read this thread and done some research.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5170789.msg52014561#msg52014561

or specifically this thread..

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5190369.msg52663441#msg52663441 since it relates to them. If you have a hard time believing anything this person says then that would be best for you actually. First READ then comment.

This is going off topic I just wanted to know if you can constantly report in a self moderated thread the posts the thread starter is deleting YES OR NO.

If YES then that is fine. We need to establish this so all members know how it is.

Seems reading isn't your strong suit. Read the part in bold. You have to request people "leave" your thread, which you never actually did.

No, you presented no evidence. You said, "here are the scammers" and presented a list of DT members which you claim to be scammers, yet you've provided no OBSERVABLE PROOF of this. Its just you doing what you do best: calling people names. Its the only thing you do.

How hard can it be for you to understand THEYMOS CAN NOT KNOW. He was not lying he was speculating based on the server side information we want him to have?? got it now retard.

Theymos wasn't speculating, he said "you are cryptohunter." He didn't say "you might be cryptohunter." It is not speculation. It is a statement of fact which he is in a unique position to verify. So you've just lied once again. There are other ways to verify you are cryptohunter besides IP information. Common sense is a big one, something that you are severely lacking.

The only thing I "got" is that, for the life of you, you cannot be honest. You are simply incapable of it. I don't know whether its a psychological problem, if it comes with being a troll, or if its a genuine neurobiological deficiency. Whatever it is, its rendered you incapable of telling the truth. Ergo, you are not to be trusted or taken seriously.

Despite my efforts to find a rational, decent side to you, you have once again failed to debate in good faith and as such I am now putting you on ignore permanently.

Even if he comes back denying that he sold it, there are many other weaselly possibilities. Are you forgetting that you're dealing with an award-winning megatroll? Cool

LOL, I suppose I did.

Doesn't seem irrelevant or off-topic to me. Seems quite the opposite. You're untrustworthy and incapable of debating in good faith.

I think members here suggest making a local rule in threads in the op if yuu don't want people to post there.

But is there a reason why it's deleted, maybe just leave it and delete its responses if they're taking the thtead off topic but then subsequent replies to them could be deleted.

If the thread gets enough attention, their post may be buried (since most people don't read topics).

If it's a scam accusation it may be considered differently by the people viewing your thread.

WRONG

I mean who would believe your words without deep investigation. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5190369.msg52663441#msg52663441

You are not focusing on the central points debated in the OP and have not provided the observable instances that were required in the rules.

You seem to be trying to shift the central debate from the action of bob to speculations regarding us being an alt of CH. You can discuss this else where it is not pertinent to the point of bob claiming observable instances of double standards are evidence of being assfucked too hard and then crying to red trust when we said to him to focus on the main points of the initial post comparing the different scenarios of prior "blackmail" and "extortion" or fuck off.

So it goes like this

1. we present observable instances of different scenarios demonstrating clear double standards of what DT's claim is extortion or blackmail and what they are willing to allow as not being those.

2. Bob just rocks up screaming presenting such observable instances where scammers claim blackmail and extortion if a member says they will encourage other members to read their histories themselves and find out who is lying. But say it is fine to allow blatant threats to force people to pay up what you CLAIM you are owed when DT members are doing it.  Well people can read the full thread here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5206130.msg53236298#msg53236298

Apparently bob says if you don't accept that presenting observable instances of scammers using double standards to silence whistle blowers under specious double standards of blackmail and extortion that must mean you have been fucked in the ass too much, you are nefarious and you also should never question them or you are poking bears and it is your own problem.

3. We tell bob either debate the points and debunk them or fuck off.

4. bob runs crying to red trust  LOL says this is a reason to give someone red trust for not accepting his sexual deviant fantasies.

We bring a thread to examine if this is a correct use of red trust and claim clearly bob is supporting scammers  and their double standards methods of silencing whistleblowers and that PEOPLE MUST BRING OBSERVABLE INSTANCES TO CORROBORATE their opinions or we will delete them.

Nutildah is clearly trying to derail the thread by moving this to  a discussion and speculation of alts which is nothing to do with the op.

Then such moon replies totally nothing to do with the points in the initial post again with no observable instances .

We delete them and they keep reposting.

So can they keep reposting or not.

There are local rules.

If they stick to discussing the central points in the OP and not shifting discussion to their other irrelevant speculations and bring observable instances to back up their opinions they can stay.

However my question is rather, it says above your deleted post when a self moderated thread deletes your post.

DO NOT CONTINUE TO POST IN THAT THREAD START YOUR OWN THREAD.

What can be done about people just copy and pasting it continuously back there???

I want to know YES OR NO is it allowed for ALL members. Does not matter either way so long as the rule is for everyone.

Either you are not allowed to repost over and over the post that was deleted or you can? and nothing can be done.

If it is allowed fine, We will make sure that we exercise our right to do so because we have been told you MUST NOT repost when a self moderated thread deletes your post regardless of the reason.

DT members create self moderated threads often to present one sided arguments where members (even if the focus) are not permitted to post LOL

Double standards. Let's get it straight can you or can you not keep reposting it there over and over or will there be something done about it? if nothing can be done for all members that is fine with us.

The forum has no "official rules."  Theymos has made that clear many times over.

If it's that big of a deal to you, stop creating self-moderated threads, and report off-topic posts to the real moderators.  But therein lies the rub:  You don't care if the post is off-topic, you just want to censor your critics.  Good luck with that.

The purpose of self moderated threads is to help reduce the burden of staff and moderators, not so you can censor your opponents.  If you want to censor your critics, post your wall text manifesto diatribe rant, then lock the thread.  Done!

But if you keep attacking people in self moderated threads, expect them to continue to post rebuttals.

Reposting a post that was deleted from a self modded thread into another thread is fine..

Repeatedly spamming the same deleted post back into the same self moderated thread is not fine, I wouldn't think, but I'm not sure if their are specific rules for this..
Is that what you mean? If anything, I would see this as childish, and possibly against forum rules..

The OP of a self moderated thread can delete posts from his thread for any reason whatsoever, and if you don't like it then....
"This is a self-moderated topic. If you do not want to be moderated by the person who started this topic, create a new topic."

IMO

What can be done about people just copy and pasting it continuously back there???
...
Either you are not allowed to repost over and over the post that was deleted or you can? and nothing can be done.
...
If it is allowed fine, We will make sure that we exercise our right to do so

This could set a slippery precedent, if it is ok to spam attack self moderated threads with the same post/posts over and over..

I did not read 100% of this thread and am not sure who is even being talked about..

I must make a confession that will probably haunt me forever in the form of massive walls of text but I'm such an honest guy fat woman that I can't remain silent anymore. I was trying to make cryptohunter to say "please", as in "please leave my thread", as per the rules. This will not happen again until next time.

Also he's a filthy liar or he sold the account or both. Try deleting that. Oh wait, Meta, no self-mod Sad.

childish

Absolutely.

against forum rules

I doubt it but if a moderator tells me to knock it off I'll comply. I don't want to get banned before I collect my win Wink.

But if you keep attacking people in self moderated threads, expect them to continue to post rebuttals.

Will you stop promulgating your usual low functioning dreg spew everywhere. That is observably NOT TRUE.

The posts are OFF TOPIC, irrelevant and derailing and DO NOT PROVIDE THE OBSERVABLE INSTANCES we stipulated to corroborate their opinions. Have you got that now.

This is not an ATTACKING post no more than scam hunters ATTACK scammers you turd. Like someone come in the street and starts attacking you stealing your shit and then you report them and start complaining notifying others of their actions and you are attacking them??? is this more of the ALICE AND BOB phone stealing LOL

We are demonstrating the observable instances of his trust abuse. Read it again. Read the initial post we created and the rules. They are to discuss HIS clear trust abuse NOT to derail with speculations that we are cryptohunter. Create their own threads for that.

You need to stick to the central points made in the initial post.

WE NOTICE NOBODY DARED DENY.

1. the double standards in the scenarios we presented - because they are UNDENIABLE
2. that bob just came to that thread tried to derail it with sexual deviant fantasies of his own that did not even attempt to debunk the central points in our thread. Just because we told him to stay on topic, debunk the points or fuck off screaming weird sexual garbage and other nonsense about you need to accept the double standards DT meat out or you are nefarious?? just because we told him stay on topic, debunk debate or fuck off  he runs to give us red trust?HuhHuhHuhHuh
3. Nobody will dare really debate this in our thread where the central point is to demonstrate he is a trust abusing girly wussy bitch. T
4. No on topic debate, no observable instances provided so they are deleted as per the rules
5. They start a thread claiming we are abusing self moderation LOL and then will not even debate that either just want to derail to more off topic speculations they want to make up.
6. DT start threads about other members and will not LET THEM POST AT ALL regardless of if they are on topic and bring observable instances.
7. We invited bob the wussy cry baby bitch there to debate his actions he ran away and would not even stay on topic just kept blathering on he did not ask to be on DT and other excuses. He is abusing red trust it is undeniable.

This is all undeniable and can be verified.

They they keep on reposting IN THE SAME THREAD the posts we are deleting perhaps 15x or even MORE.

If this is allowed then it must be allowed for all members.

I want to hear what mods say about this. Can people keep on posting deleted posts back in the same thread YES OR NO. We were told this was NOT allowed.

If it is allowed like everyone here is claiming GOOD so long as the rules are the same for all members.

Direwolf the dirt bag totally trying to misrepresent the entire thing. GO CHECK IT OUT from the start.

LOL @suchmoron does not realize claiming that she always has us on ignore never reads our shit but hangs on our every word , always ready to try and snip if she sees what SHE thinks is a mistake. LOL just read back our last interactions....she will never answer anything claiming always on ignore BUT then any tiny mini error she thinks she spots BOOM she tries to lash out. Pathetic and sad what a self debunking idiot will stoop to to avoid further humiliation.

Trying to make out that we need to hide that people believe we are CH lol...... hahaha yeah nobody knew about that SPECULATION before, hahahah we need to hide it...oh shit you have said it now the cat is out of the bag fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

hahah

Keep on topic you fat slob, you report any chance you get (LOOK AT OUR DELETED THREADS TOPIC IN REP) you admit you report them these are FAR FAR FAR more on topic clearly than your moronic off topic irrelevant speculations. Get it now SLOB

We will not put up with your double standards. Either anyone can repost their deleted posts over and over and over again on self moderated threads or they can NOT. Either way it must be the same for all members.

Can't be bothered to read, always on ignore..... but that is only when you don't see a slight chance of a snipe isn't it. Weasel runs away hiding behind excuses only to reveal herself as a liar when she is caught out reading every word for a perceived weakness (that never exists LOL)  pathetic and transparent poor mess.

lol " fithy liar" or fat slob... only you are allowed to give the insults I see snowflake.

One is also true the other is speculation of the fat slob suchmoon hahaha

Anyway, we can see that it is accepted to repost  deleted posts in the same self moderated threads is FINE according to most DT members. That is fine with us. It is actually the preferred answer. We are just glad we have this thread to refer to when we need.

Suchmoon is always there to assist us. Thanks chunky trunks.

Just so long as there is no double standards that is all we want to see.

There are no such rules yet about repeatedly reposting your deleted posts from the self-moderated topic.
If you don't like their posts or if you think 🤔  its off topic then just click the report to moderator button bellow their post and let the moderators take the action.
I report posts which are double and consecutive postings...
If ever the posts I deleted which are being repeatedly reposting in my self-moderated topic, I can't do about it but follow their advice to please them to leave the thread

I am not sure of the details of the drama you are complaining about, but if I see something shady in a self moderated thread, and I post a warning to others that gets deleted, I will generally post the warning against two or three more times if my warning continues getting deleted by the self mod OP.

On the other hand, some people have complained in the past about harassment on their threads (I have no idea if this is the case for your self mod thread), and there have been requests for a forum feature to prevent people from posting in your thread. It shouldn't be difficult to write a script that would allow a self mod OP  to effectively ban someone from posting in their self mod thread. The annoying CSS might make it more complex than it needs to be, but it still wouldn't be terribly difficult.

2. Create bot which automatically delete post created by specific member on your self-moderated thread

Such bots have existed since forever, I bet there is something open source-ish available somewhere. I was being kicked out of GAW thread back in 2014, there was clearly a bot doing that - multiple posters would get their posts deleted within seconds.

However the OP is too lazy to do something like that and he's really only looking for an excuse to spam the Wall Observer thread.

I know I ain't doing that cause its not worth my time if one or other idiot deletes my post though I admit I have been OT as well and so it got deleted I don't mind its fair, but sometimes I do feel people wanna make a point and you abuse the self mod thread system and delete some posts to fast (not especially talking about my posts)

So when someone has a legit thing to say ON topic then I do think it can be frustrating for some and they just want people to read what they have to say....
I couldn't be bothered a single F*** myself.

That said, grow up, grow a pair of balls and don't be such a child FFS.

DT members do not get special rules in all things do they??

Damn you should know, the specials we have an isight of special locked treats....

There even is this very secret DT section where we are all laughing with that idiot TOAA....

Your the centre point of that room and we are all like
