I hate to hear that too. Some use Superstitions as an excuse for their mistakes or when they lose a bet. Some won't even share betting tips because they believe it would lose if they do that.

Actually all of what you have been said is true and I can say that we really must stop or avoid to talk about big gains or what we have been earned in some casinos or gambling because for our safety measures also and because the main reason is robbery because of jealousy that they also want to have those huge money or earnings that you have been win. I think it still depends on the people where you are going to tell like for example if you are going to tell it to your friends or family then more likely there will no problem in that but if you are going to publicize it then it is different. Maybe it is better to keep your winnings so that there will be no problem at all. Yes, you are also right with all what you've said it can be possible so it is better to keep it. But it also depends on a situation as well, if you play online gambling and win big amount then it is no problem if you talk about your winning through your chatmates online on that gambling game since our identity is just anonymous there.

Your first reason is considerable while the last one is funny enough to keep your secret behind yourself. -:)  maybe influencing others to do same is not a good practice since greediness can conquer their mindset once they've learned that there's chances to make an easy money they will blindly thinks that it is possible but the the reality will only lead the to suffered from big engagement to the point that they will be addicted and lose control.

I might fight it now a good Idea, because from the OP what I think he is trying to say is just the concept or the news about the big gains that you have. Meaning to say that not the actual profit that you've received from winning in the game. Because for me, it is quite risky to always trust someone we know who win a game, there might be times that we could borrow but their interest is surprisingly high, and we might ask them to pay, but they will disappear suddenly.

It really depends on where you are playing. If you're playing at an online casino, and are simply bragging about your winnings in the chatbox or here on a forum, where your identity remains anonymous, then there's no reason not to brag. Sure, it's a bit of a douche move, but there's nothing stopping and almost certainly no possible repercussions. However, if you're playing at a brick & mortar casino, especially one in a run-down area, it wouldn't be a smart move to brag about your winnings, as you might quickly find yourself being robbed once you get outside.

But sometimes they just ask you whether you're just losing the gamble or taking it, you have to say. And you don't want to be incompetent, but you're going to say you took the big gains.

^ Count me in, I never experience but if I have won I will never tell anyone just for my own safety and besides, there are some of your feeling close friend begging you money. It's better to remain your mouth shut and observe who's around you. Money is a very powerful stuff on earth and it will attract people who need money. To avoid being rub and might put your life at risk, probably it is better just keep it secret until you keep your money into a safe place.
