To tell you the truth, I don't think anything better than OpenBazaar could be created at this moment. I am surprised that developers without financial security for at least two - three years of development are trying to launch such projects.
I think it's safe to say that every market place site that's accessible through the regular net is already better than OB. OB's main obstacle is that people need to do too many things to get it working, which just isn't worth the hassle. Most of the goods offered on OB are legal and for that reason do not require a peer to peer network to operate on. They shot themselves in the foot by doing that.
When you need censorship resistance it's amazing, when you don't, it sucks hard because any other centralized market place will do a better job serving people. It sucks to say this because I really like the project, but a project is only good when people appreciate it enough and use it, but that's lacking here.
