Not sure how long this feature has existed for, but certainly a long functionally delayed one. At least I don’t recall seeing that feature during the ICO hype where telegram was a main exponent to many scams.

I have merited it because this I stumble this feature because of this thread, I'm glad that we have one right now, I am not aware of its existence when so many scam ICO is ruling it in the telegram channel, Telegram become their hubs to update on how they are scamming people, now I can report all these scams and bounty cheaters

I tried to search it on google but no result satisfies me. Looks like some website also suggests to use that, but it's a bit weird as there's a report button.

This surely look like a recently add features on telegram, and can come up as a good warning message under proven scam projects around. It is surely a late implementation as it was more need at the time of BTC hype but is an exciting decision by telegram.

Has anyone tried this tool? How was the response speed of the support? What evidence can be considered reliable?
It is a good effort by them to help get rid of scam, but I think it will take about a week or more to respond and verify all requests and thus scammers will have enough time to deceive others.

I hope they rely on third parties to accelerate the response speed and thus more effective.

It's probably going to take a lot of reports before they start tagging an account as scam. The more reports, the faster they act.

Here's what appears to the scammers profile according to another post:

If you have a proof that some scammer tried to scam you, don't let them get away! Write to @notoscam and provide them all the evidences. Then the scammer's account(s) will be marked with a "SCAM" sign, and the profile biography will be: ⚠️ Warning: Many users reported this account as a scam. Please be careful, especially if it asks you for money.

Glad they did this, Telegram has now become a spam fest and new ICO are now targeting this messaging tool, but it's so easy to create a telegram account or channel all you need is a new phone number and you have a new account as replacement for the tagged one, this will  lessen scammers, but there will be persistent one.
