I would not be surprised if some countries join in the train of offering blockchain courses or degree because whether you like it or not, the blockchain technology is a great tool with so much benefits to help curb the escalating rate of bribery and corruption. Blockchain technology needs to be exploied to the latter. In the meantime some industries i heard some universities across the globe do offer online blockchain courses as well.

Learning blockchain tech for the future technology doesn't mean you have to be in crypto, blockchain can be used without crypto coin or token like what IBM do.
So with proper understanding and learning process they can implement it on their projects without having connected in crypto but that depends on what and who want to teach them with such process.

Bitcoin is part of technological progress. Therefore it is important for students to learn 5W + 1H about Bitcoin as a basis for the introduction of Bitcoin and crypto. In essence, I think cryptocurrency must be included in the education curriculum. Minimum in high school level.

This year opened up a lot of information and opportunity for blockchain. This made up the minds of aspiring blockchain engineers that it is a fast growing industry.

Probably, most of them understood that blockchain is applicable to every business that share the same idea.

This is really reality and what people think about blockchain.
If they said blockchain, it is automatically cryptocurrency or bitcoin. It is totally misconception, just like what happening in China now, like if you said cryprocurrency, it's more likely illegal but if blockchain, looks good.
I hope everyone should be able to know real meaning of blockchain and cryptocurrency, like how they are totally different.

Right here in my own country, there is also a brewing interest with the blockchain technology and now there are some select schools offering some short-term courses and training on this. With the blockchain technology starting to be recognized as an important tool and even a game-changer, I am sure that more and more students will be getting into this. And this is partly in response to the growing demand for people who are blockchain experts. Once the demand for personnel who are acquainted well with the blockchain technology, more and more schools will be offering full-fledged courses or even degrees on this. This is a good development, on my own reckoning.

Yes, I think many schools have been offering blockchain courses already, so I wouldn't be surprised that in 2020 we might see a boom.

Demand is already there, it's that the market is short of experts right now. But with proper education in the next year demand can be filled and adoption will follow.

As more and more people being introduced to the blockchain technology, there would be more exciting ideas that could come up and possibly put more innovation than what we have now. It's amazing to see how much this generation is enthusiastic about learning more or introducing blockchain technology for students. If this continues, there would be more applications towards the blockchain tech moving towards the global utilization of this kind of tech. For sure, a lot more people would recognize and put more resources towards educating future generations.

That is very good, blockchain and crypto learning should be introduced to the younger generation, so that they are more understanding and not trapped when they want to go directly into the world of crypto. So this learning is very useful to provision them to do business in the crypto world.
If this is applied in many countries, crypto will automatically increase its prominence and mass adoption will occur among the younger generation.

Blockchain education is becoming a rage now. Not just because of cryptos but the ever increasing popularity of blockchain and its expanding use case in many different type of businesses. Even though there weren't many university level blockchain courses, there were many free and paid courses running on different online course providers such as edx, Coursera and Udemy. These have been running since 2017 when crypto blew out. Blockchain education is really necessary nowadays as many companies are spending a lot in R&D to integrate blockchain in their system. This will open up many new job opportunities.

When Xi said he was for "blockchain" back in Oct 2019, many Universities overnight pretty much started to offer Blockchain courses. And I think its important to people in the computer field to quickly get a degree in this Blockchain field.

Reason why? Is because there is very little supply of Blockchain tech's and very high demand at the moment. Even if Bitcoins price doesn't recover it doesn't matter, we are just talking about Blockchain here and not Bitcoin.

Hence someone can really enhance their resume if they quickly take these courses and stand out of the crowd.

As a student myself, I really hope that blockchain technology will be taught in schools. Since schools are teaching about technologies, blockchain is also a technological development that needs to be learned by students. We're now on the 4th industrial revolution, and if this kind of development isn't welcome in education, when will other students discover blockchain? Let's be open that this knowledge is not only for the benefits of cryptocurrency and its adoption, it's also for the students. Additional knowledge for the students to know what's really happening now.

Basically I don't think blockchain could really be one of the courses offered in the school universities, because the blockchain lessons could be compressed as a subject in school, with this, it could be mixed with the courses related to computer science and IT.

But if this could be done good, there will be many more projects that could provide better services for the people. But first, blockchain should be first accepted by the government and should be supported by the people as well.

Regarding this, since blockchain is the backbone of cyptocurrency, it is a fundamental need for people to study about this especially the students. Maybe they could incorporate the lectures regarding developing a cryptocurrrency though understanding the basics of the smart contracts. But for me, the main benefits it could give are the opportunities to build strong and secured projects and technology through the utilization of blockchain technology. Lastly, I think it would still be hard to implement because of the courses they could offer could cost too much.

It's inevitable for such courses to be released considering the demand and also many prestigous university or ivy leagues already planning to release the online courses.  Although it's not always true that blockchain developer get one of the highest salary since it's all depends on every company but the fact that blockchain developers is still low in amount it might bring higher salary than usual.
