Bitcoin is 10 years old and nobody, well I myself use btc for paying my hosting fees etc and to buy weed, but even than bitcoin is useless.

Im in crypto since 2013 and it was cool back than, now look at it- its shit and the people promoting it are whack- the bullrun 2017 destroyed it, now we have regulators and all these weirdos involved that we didnt like before and they were the reason we got into bitcoin cause it was different- all it is now its a regulated shit company run by chicoms. that bump and dump this garbage whenever they want.

Indeed this is one of those FUD to drive the price of Bitcoin lower.  But well everyone has their own opinion and can do their own research.  OP's stand is his belief and I will not argue with it but the fact that these kinds of FUD is everywhere, we might see a massive uptrend rally in the near future. 

Its no wonder only few have more BTC, its expensive its true. You might not have any either, you're not the only who has no BTC in the wallet. Don't worry about that you share the same sentiment with millions of people.

The Chinese didn't put bitcoin on top of the cryptocurrency list, which is why I would have to think BTC isn't the least they care to manipulate. They like ETH, TRX and EOS more than BTC.

The fact that Bitcoin is much more expensive that it was way back 10 years ago means Bitcoin is being adopted and it will never become worthless as long as people like us who support, use and spread awareness about Bitcoin is here.

It seems that someone bought bitcoin in bull run in 2017 because I don't see any other reason to be so negative about Bitcoin. China always had massive influence when it comes to mining power and news that regarding Bitcoin. Its your decision and your right to have your own opinions about Bitcoin but don't make them public here if you have no real facts to cover the story. It so happen that it matters to him to convince BITCOIN community not to buy bitcoin but he is an ethereum fan. There is nothing wrong with being Etehreum fan, I am an Ether fan too but I don't see why hate Bitcoin. If you are solely ETH fan, then you probably have not gone deeper into the bitcoin and how things work under its hood. Most coin supporter think the same way that its the coin they support that is far superior.

I might very much agree and rightly agree with you, we know that the Chinese people are very persistent and famous in terms of business and very rooted and become a tradition. so if it is true the OP said that some bitcoin is held by them, we can be sure that bitcoin will be a very profitable commodity. no businessman wants to lose money and will definitely make money.

Ethereum? That coin Vitalik dumped in 2017 when it was peaking? Google this. He sold 130k ETH in 2017. If you were buying back then chances are you're holding Vitalik's bag and he's got 100m USD in the bank thanks to his believers (suckers).
Sure you can build on it but in the end it's still going to be a coin with no cap that someone created to make fiat money. It's not there to be a revolutionary decentralized private bank that you can hold in your pocket. It's there because ETH foundation wants to fill their pockets with fiat money at your expense.

I agree with everything you said- i never said ethereum itself is the end all be all- however if you run a dapp you can just use ether as gas and you can build on top of ethereum what is legit and fair for everyone.

You dont even have that option with bitcoin- we bitcoin you are as soon as you buy it subject to manipulation
youhave no say so what happens to your investment with bitcoin, none- if whales decide to pump after you bought you are lucky, however its more than possible that bitcoin dumps after you bought.

But please also respect the choices of others, we are all free to choose whether to buy bitcoin or not. And I am among those who choose
