Even if it is controlled by the Chinese miners, it could still gain in value.  I guess in that scenario, they may want to pump it and dump it and leave the rest of us holding the bag. If that is true, then the trick is to cash out before they dump.

There are a lot of exchanges you can go and you can see its worth. It doesn't have the same value as other investments but I'm pretty sure it is not worthless. Also, when you talk about Bitcoin being a Chinese company, how can you say that? Doesn't mean that Chinese holds the most miners in the world means it is a Chinese company.

People compare Bitcoin to anything they hold. If they hold XRP then it's better than Bitcoin. If they hold ETH then it's better than Bitcoin. I have seen the same within stock market forums when I was still trading stocks.

People have an incentive to shill whatever they hold a lot of, which just as easily applies to Bitcoin holders. Bitcoin holders consider every coin that isn't Bitcoin a scam or at the very least a shitcoin. In most cases they are right but not every coin.

I don't consider Ethereum as scam or shitcoin, the same applies to Monero and a couple of other coins. People are free to choose whatever coin they use or invest in. Why should we trash them for doing that?

Most of the time it will depend on their demographics, some are using a particular cryptocurrency because most of their participants to their circle of friends use it also. And in other cases, it is based on the country itself, there are countries that mainly created their own cryptocurrency for them to use. With this, I do really admire what you said, because with the variations of perspective we have, we should intersect at one aspect, which is to show respect to ne another.
